Pokémon Platinum Hardcore Nuzlocke using only EEVEELUTIONS!
THe eeveelutions have alwyas been some of my favorite pokemon. Add while some are better than others, overall they are freaking awesome!
So I decided to play through Pokemon Platinum as a hardcore nuzlocke, using only the Eeveelutions, getting on after each gym. Here's how it went!

I also think leaf guard isn’t too bad either. If he’s fighting a physical attacker, who doesn’t have fire moves, synthesis and sunny day let’s him set up with swords dance pretty easily

Flareon has been my favorite since growing up with gen 1, and it remains my favorite to this day. Always thought it was the coolest, and it still is imo. But you can’t go wrong with any of them. They’re all great, but Jolteon, Leafeon, Umbreon, Sylveon, Vaporeon, Espeon and Glaceon round off 2-8.

Yeah he’s certainly the best! I’ve had games like emerald Kaizo only my list for a while, just haven’t gotten around to them yet. I did recently play emerald rogue, and am currently playing through a pretty awesome HG/SS remake Rom hack.

For perhaps the first time yesterday, I had an umbreon battle who I felt was a real proper tank. Normally I use him and he can barely stall for a bit. But this one worked out pretty well

Espeon is my favorite and followed by Umbreon. I have a shiny version of them in a few generations (gen.2 Gen.4 (HG/SS) gen.6 (X and Y plus Leafeon and Glaceon) gen.8 (BDSP plus Leafeon and Glaceon) and now gen.9

loved the video. but i think one cool way to handle such a themed nuzlocke would be to replace all gift pokemon with eevees including the starter. just a suggestion. also missed opportunity to not name every eevee after a famous biologist or other scientist in the field, like Mendel, Pasteur etc.

That could be interesting, off hand I’m not sure how many gift Pokémon there are in platinum, but I could be doable. For the names, I might take up that suggestion for the next one. This video is doing pretty well, so I want to take the same concept to a different generation.

@@NuzlockeJoe aside from the starter there are 4; the Togepi egg from Cynthia, Bebe's Eevee, a Porygon from a guy in Veilstone, and Rileys Riolu. for the other 2 Eevees maybe slide one for when you could get a fossil, and another when Cyrus gives you the masterball.

In order of release its flareon, umbreon, and leafeon. As a whole it's still umbreon. Took me forever to realize as a kid that he was a stall machine instead of a traditional attacker lol. Kinda dampened my love until I realized how to properly utilize umbreon. Good times.

Yeah I get that. That’s probably why espeon is still my favorite: because he’s so fast and and a heavy hitter. Though I will say I did just finish a run with umbreon, and foul play was incredibly useful.

I liked your video, but about the evolution thing... Neanderthals had an average brain capacity of 1410 cm3. We homo sapiens today have an average (male) 1350 cm3. You could say they were more advanced. But because they were also stronger didnt adapt to newer/safer tactics while hunting.
