When I saw the title, I was so profoundly excited about its implications. Perhaps the most excited I've been about an episode title in the history of this show - more than episode 109, or 171, or 200. Upon reading it, I gasped and thought, "That's genius. It's conveying that Dr. Lubelle has gone so far as to _expose the fact that Night Vale is fictional._ This is going to be the most mind-blowing, meta episode ever." Then it turns out the title was genuinely an actual oversight lmao

I really want to listen to all of these episodes, but i would fall asleep and forget all the names, this fandom seems so danm delectable, but i physically and mentally would be unable to binge almost 300 episodes worth of plot (which, if i math this right, and each episode is about 30 minutes long) which would take me a *little more than a year* , I am scared, that if i start listening, i wont be able to *_stop_*

I. I don’t think you’re mathing right. There’s less than 300 episodes. A year is 365 days. Even if you only listen to one episode a day you’ll be done before a year. Granted, still a long ass time and I am in the exact same boat as you.

If you're worried about mixing up names and voices, they have printed transcripts in book form with cool art and behind the scenes stories for a good chunk of the episodes. I think they're up to volume 4 now (episode 90ish + about 4 liveshow scripts). The second time I listened to NV, I read along with the transcripts while having the audio on in the background, and it was really helpful at keeping me focused for all the beginning plot stuff. Highly recommend.

That's likely just the file name for the deliverables when it's handed off between editors and audio engineers and whoever handles uploading to streaming. It's just an error that they didn't change the title before it was uploaded.
