Nvidia launches three "NEW" graphics cards! SUPER... or not so much?

will you re- test Radeons with latest drivers or just stick old data in charts.. More stable driver statement makes me wonder that and i also watched newer reviews of 4070 and 7800xt with quite different data than in old reviews..

​@@Princeof1000Enemiesyou can bet fsr 5 will run on the xtx but dlss 4 itself won't be compatible with the 4090. You gotta understand what software/tech nvidia is actually selling you (weren't you buying hardware?) if it ends support with that generation itself. All in all, even old nvidia users will start using open source tech like fsr/xess just to keep chugging along. The sheer reason why dlss, framegen and whatever else nvidia comes up with is better than fsr or xess is because they make hardware that's custom fit to suit that need. Even then, fsr and xess come almost close in a few cases. But if you prefer dlss/rt over fsr/low perf rt, then it's up to choice

2.0 is good enough for what the card outputs, 1440p at 144hz, of your going to get more, just use the better Display ports

@@Shmoxx. Ahhh, however the card 'only' is able to output that lower resolution 'becasue' of it's lack of the LATEST output connectors / protocols. So sorry, I still stand... No HDMI 2.1 then an immediate NO GO from this point forward. Absolutely NO reason for manufactures to leave off such compatibity features from TVs, Video cards (Laptops / Desktops), Gaming consoles, etc. Sure maybe the case a couple of years back, but no longer exceptable.

Waiting to upgrade my 2070 Super still, is this the time to get a 4070 Super? I play mostly older games and ONLY care about 1440 gaming. I can hold out for 5000 Series though......

@@ThePalePatriot With a 4070 you should achieve decent frame rates at 1440 resolution & 120 refresh rate. At a 240 hz refresh rate your frame rate may dip lower than desired and that's where a 4090 would not. So yeah, especially if you are OK with 1440 / 120... prices are dropping on the 4070 cards as we speak.

I'd be excited for a 4080 Super if I thought I could actually get a Founders edition, or high quality aftermarket in the next few months but I am doubtful. I'm really hoping, like others have mentioned here, that the XTX will drop in price. If I could pick up a 7900XTX Sapphire Nitro Plus for $850, even $900, I'd probably just buy one right now and screw Nvidia.

most likely it will drop. we already saw during the Xmas sales that there is room for a lower price for both 7900xt and xtx. So what i suspect is that in the next month or so we will see small reduction in prices for 7800xt 7900xt and 700xtx.

the 256 bus width is just as important too to avoid bottlenecking. Remember that was the big critism of the 4060ti 16gb version.

This refresh shows how the real pricing should have been from the start for the 40 series. Now be in the place of people who bought an rtx 4080 and see a refresh 200 bucks less for more performance.. Hope people will switch sides and goes for team red

i think you should check what an NDA is first. he never said he's gonna breach the NDA, just that he is considering not playing by Nvidia's rules. there are ways to do that without getting yourself into legal trouble.
