I have an pci 3 wd sn 570 and i was wondering if the pci 4 was needed . This video saved me effectively 60e. Though if that's not enough i will buy another tb nvme.

Thank you. It was the exact comparison I was looking for. I will probably get a Gen3 M.2 SSD whether my future motherboard supports Gen 3 or Gen4. Reason? I am short on money and 1Terebyte Gen 3 M.2 SSDs are a little bit cheaper.

Thanks for the video. Could these devices (with the enclosure) be used to run a bootable Linux distro? Would the procedure be the same as with putting the distro on a USB drive? Could multiple distros be loaded onto one drive with Ventoy?
