I installed these in my 2016 street glide special and wow they rock super loud and clear. I didn't have to heat he pods i just shaved the in side ribs of the pods and they fit. great product! Thanks Carlos

I have been running the Diamond MP654's and blew one. So perfect time to test the GZ Yellow Baskets against the Diamonds. Running an SD 1200 x 4 with Diamond 6x9' 694's in the bags. The horns on the Diamonds are stellar as I'm sure everyone is aware. The GZ's do have a better rounded warmer tone that the Diamonds though. If the Yellow Baskets hold up then I will stay with them. The GZ's have the Diamonds beat in the midbass. 2014 Streetglide pods. Now time will tell... ;)

Give a lot to think about. I have a 2016 Ultra limited that plan on doing a speaker and amp install this winter. Looking at just a direct 4 speaker drop in. Sounds like I'll have to have the Boom head unit flashed.

Wow you can run 300 watts to each of those yellow baskets? And gets low as 50hz? Damn... Thats what I need for my front fairing on my Road Glide. I want good low frequency mid bass up top as well as high frequency to match the diamond coaxsub in my saddlebags.

@@NVSAUDIO I’m not really audio knowledgeable when they say run as low as 50hz is that the crossover on the back of the amp you can run that low? And if so through the deck would you adjust or just leave everything flat? I’m running a sound digital 400.2 on them and it’s currently set just above the 80 hz on the amp.

I was told to run the horns on my mp654's in the fairing parallel with the horns in my lids on channels 1 and 2 and the front mids on 3 and 4 on my 800.4 threw a dsp1. Rear mids will be ran bridged on a second 800.4. I eliminate all the speaker cross overs when using a dsp1 correct? Btw your videos are supper helpfull thank you for putting them out!

I have these in my Road Glide. Running sound digital 400.4 bridged. Voltage 28.2 per channel. When I get around 3/4 volume, speakers cut out. Have you come across that?

Yes I do Focal is a great company Love all their car audio stuff but I’m not a big fan of their Motorsorts stuff . It’s weather resistant but just can’t take the power . They sound really good at low volumes but at highway speeds it all gets washed away . I had the same issue with hertz until they came out with the spl show Neos . The focal sensitivity is 91 verses the hertz Neo 96.5 That is just my option

@@brandincriscione7965 completely different speaker. The Hertz is more waterproof and is a drop-in fit. This one you have to modify to get it to fit, but it has more midbass.

I would prefer 2 800.4 and a dsp ( all fits in the fairing) I’m not a big fan of the 1200.4 Plus the 1200.4 will give you 150 watts per speaker , 2 - 800.4 will give you 400 watts per speaker bridged.
