I won’t comment about the plot, you’ve already explained your reasoning for that. What I WILL comment on however is the voice acting. Matts has improved since Toby’s NWR Origins ep, and Mika was just great as Mavis! Excited for BoCo’s episode, which will sadly be the last of this season, but all good things must come to an end I suppose.

In real life Mavis's basis replaced Toby's on the Wisbech & Upwell Tramway. I notice Mavis sounds like an English Electric Type 1 / Class 20 in some scenes; these would be a useful locomotive for a railway like the Ffarquahar branch with its 40mph speed limit and 1000hp engine.

Good job for getting the history of Tramway Engines correct this time around from what the wiki states 1962, and I never did understand why it took place in this time. It's Awdry's last book yet it takes place between Gallant Old Engine and Stepney the Bluebell Engine. It's not a problem, but it messes up the order the books were written in. Maybe Tramway Engines should've been the first Gunvor and Peter Edwards book, and with his mighty power Duke the Lost Engine should've been the last. It would mean Ghost Train and Woolly Bear would've had to air between the Daisy For Hire three-parter and the Main Line Engines three parter.
