James is on his way back to the sheds when he makes a freaky discovery on an old abandoned section of line. When Thomas catches wind, he tells James and the other engines about a locomotive that used to work on the railway before many of them arrived. Gordon doesn't believe Thomas at first, only for karma to bite him in the tender tank the following night when he gets quite the scare...

Sweet may mother of Autism. It feels good to be back after 7 months of absence. Sorry about that. If you want the full details of it, look at the post. Apologies if a long absence comes about again in the future.
This took bloody ages to render with Sony Vegas freezing at random points during the rendering process. As a result, I had to render this in sections and loosely join it together. Admittedly, there are a few TINY black flickers between some clips, but I'm sure you won't take much notice of those.
I don't own anything.

Personally I think the chattering teeth sound effect and the record scratch kind of kills the grim mood. Don’t get it wrong they’re good sound effects for comedic moments, but when somethings meant to be taken seriously they kind of take you out of the moment. Most notably the metal gear alert sound effect kind of messed with the reveal of the half engine in my opinion. It made it come across as comical rather than terrifying. Overall though, it’s a pretty decent remake. Edit: Just making sure, what is the original writer of the story credited? I couldn’t find anything about Narrow Gauge in the description Edit 2: Never mind I was unaware that the story was created by NCOPictures
