OOC made a great point. That moment of seeing someone new on the main roster and seeing their moves and entrance and personality for the first like we had in the 80's and 90s is gone. Think about the first time undertaker came out and so many other major stars over the years. I havent followed wrestling since the late 90's and I see I havent missed much. The insanity theme is a rip-off of Primus' My Name is Mud and everyone knows that Primus Sucks. I'm not too fond of the boyos that have taken over for Jim Johnston, for every stand-out entrance theme there's like five cookie-cutter ones that sound so similar which really irks me because I feel like there's too much input from the ole' chain of command that can sabotage a wrestler before they even have a chance - perhaps it was the same way with Johnston but I liked when lower-card guys got to have great entrance themes simply because the song turned out to be really good when it was done being created - like Gangrel or Dan Severn or Raven. It seemed like even if they weren't planning something big for an individual, they still wanted to give him a fighting chance of some sort. That aside, you're a billion-dollar company, just license some fucking music you cheap bastard. Licensing music instantly makes a wrestling product seem more relevant and hip - or in the case of ECW not licensing the music and just playing the good shit over the event PA and dubbing shitty rip-offs on subsequent media copies. They could probably work out decent promotional deals with various record labels or streaming services or individual artists because it's not a one-sided relationship - it's great publicity for a musical act.

Not at all - their success doesn't alter how much of a shit match they had! An older match doesn't get any better because the performers improve later in life. Hope that makes sense brah! That said, really impressed how Cien has really improved by leaps and bounds, almost unrecognisable from the reviewed match.
