For all of you who feel the sound is bad . . . . TRUST ME - it’s only the sound of the video. I was there this night (and for many Sunday nights) and the sound in the room (the musicians and the singers) was top quality. Shanny can sing the lights out !!! It many sound like she’s screaming but she ABSOLUTELY KILLED this song EVERY TIME she sang it. Sunday night at the Village Underground with Ron Grant (RIP) and Friends (at Blue Angel and Chaz & Wilson’s prior and at MIST Harlem after) was ALWAYS a special event that you would never forget if you had attended the show. This weekly event was, HAND DOWN, the best live performance event NYC has ever known and it’s hard to imagine that there will ever be a better one. It was a magical time that will never be duplicated.

My favorite part is a little past the midway point of the video when Travis has a solo. I really don't know how many times I've listened to that solo. But it is a lot, and it has to be one of my favorite gospel/neo-soul moments easily.
