Selling Christmas trees on the corner is something that absolutely reminds me of New York even though I didn't grow up there. I just remember seeing that on tons of movies when I was a kid and as an adult I love seeing that it just really makes me think of this time of year. 🎄🎅

Thank you so much for the walk of Astoria and the beautiful tree. I grew up near Steinway st and it was very busy during the 80s as well. Woolworth used to be on Steinway. Good to see that pizza place is still there. Also Madeleines hosiery which has been around forever - good to see it still going. Steinway street was always packed and busy with people cloths shops with some fast food places. Big movie theatre as well. Sad to see so many empty places still.
