*Before watching cycling compilations:* Meh, I guess this $20 brake/head lights and a bell should do on my bike. *After watching compilations:* 105db electronic loudspeaker, hundreds of dollars of unnecessary lights... No, its not enough. I need mountable jet engines and wings!

The common element to ALL of these situations is that things would work properly if everyone would FOLLOW THE RULES. However, they don't because there is basically zero accountability for breaking the rules.

5:40-- Talk about vehicular superiority. I don't know much about the traffic laws in NY, but most states have statutes granting cyclists with all the rights and responsibilities of a motor vehicle. Seems like the driver of the white car can't stand a bicycle being in a traffic lane.

@@ActionKid For so hadicaped people we have noise signals at pedestrian traffic lights. And these people are marked with a yellow ribbon at their arm, with printed symbols. And/or with a white stick. (in germany) So even car driver can notice these handicaped people. But anyway: If someone is really handicaped, he has no guilt, if something doing wrong. Because if he cannot do it right. ie cannot see it. In germany we have § 1 - no. one of our traffic laws. Everyone must be careful for each others in the traffic. That fullfill all. I think, the same in the USA. And first looking, before start driving. Even a green traffic light, is not shure, if the road is free for driving. In a city you must look so much to everyone and everything. Your videos show it, too. A lot of people, bikes and cars in the streets. And the traffic lights. And maybe someone in the middle, who manage the traffic. Even young children or pets can run suddenly into a driveway.
