I know it's none of my business, but plz be careful about showing your home inside & out, as well as the layout etc, I've heard horror stories of strangers showing up/stalking some "influencers" at their homes, pretty scary..... Thank you for sharing your beautiful family with the rest of us.

I see so many hate comments on here , and its ridiculous how people are so quick to judge. I've known people with 1 or 2 kids and can't handle raising them. It doesn't matter how many children you have, some people don't have it in them to be loving and decent parents. A lot of people here are envious that these people have a beautiful home, an awesome RV and are living life to the fullest!

Obviously, you're a super busy family. Will you be trying to do a vegetable garden? Sometimes it is so much effort for the money saved. I'm always more in like with the idea of a garden than successful with the follow-through. I did just have an idea. Not sure what protocols you have with teachers and fellow musicians with concerts and such -- but I know gifts can be really taxing on the budget. I've never done it but have seen people do bottles of infused oils and such using herbs. Herbs are usually really easy to grow. And it becomes a more personal gift. Just a wild idea thought in case it lands somewhere useful. Best,

@@jacalynmiller Different areas of the city are differently priced. They're in Harlem and it may be more affordable than other parts of Manhattan although all of NYC expensive and much more expensive than most other parts of the country. If this gorgeous brownstone was located 2 1/2 or 3 miles south on the upper East Side, the rent would most likely be quadruple of what they're paying in Harlem.

Gorgeous! And even with a nice backyard! Here in Germany we'd consider that a house, not an apartment. We've lived in the city in a small space (2 beds, 1 bath) with 5 kids but you look quite strange here doing so. With 2 or more kids (more than 3 is rare, even for believers) you "need" a house. From what I see in the US there is more freedom to live your way and less judgement. Sadly Germans are not fond of kids at all, let alone German landlords. I love to see how other bigger families live and make it work. Thanks for sharing & God bless!

instead of having a “lego room” you should just give one of the older children their own room so they can actually have some privacy. the kids can just play with lego in their room honestly..

my exact thought but then again the older kids are going off to collage soon but i still think the “lego room” idea would be great if they had a lot of rooms to spare but it’s just not fit for a nyc apartment sadly

@@TheHappyCaravan , all in good time! The comments are so interesting. West coasters and East coasters and in between and abroad. People seeing things they aren't familiar with. And apparently a lot of people who haven't moved much. Seems like a great find for housing. You have a ton of space for NYC.

@@rebeccaoliver7977 Yes, they're totally clueless about rental rates for NY. I hate the continual rude comments where people keep asking how much they pay and how can they afford it? It's really none of their business. Does anyone have an ounce of etiquette anymore in this social media age. I grew up in a large family and shared a room. Then you see children who grew up with their own room, television, and video games and they have all these problems and can't communicate about anything.

Omg I cannot believe all the judgment and foolish criticisms. This family lives in a beautiful brownstone in W. Harlem where the brownstones are huge but they need the space being a family of 12! But people on here are acting creepy about the kids and wanting to know who does the chores, whether family owns or rents the house etc. Sheesh. The house tour should be removed since it shows where each child will sleep. Its a beautiful home though Im sad so many people have been displaced by big developers.
