This guy looks really familiar and I just remembered what it was. I'm pretty sure I've seen him around the area many times, but one time in particular I remember him stealing a few items from a CVS on east 34th and 2nd. One of them was a winter hat. The employees clearly saw but ignored it. He appeared to be mentally ill and I figured this wasn't a confrontation worth having for those employees and so I understood why they just let it happen. I saw him putting on the hat and whatever else he stole outside the store and kind of felt sorry for him thinking he's just trying to stay warm. And it is sad, but scary to think what a person like that is capable of when they snap
