Kimpton Hotel Eventi. It was a good location. Walking distance to Macy’s. It was very good, not great.

I wasn’t sure I’d like it either, because I saw the ball drop and hatted that. But this was way more relaxed and spread out. Also we had great weather which makes all the difference!

That was soooo awesome, and what a view of the parade! May need to do Stardust next time with our Bon Jovi fan AnonyMommy! Rolf’s….what hits the senses more? The food or the decoration? Wow. Sooooo grateful for so much this year. Macy’s Christmas Village! My mom/grandma both worked across the street from there at competitor Gimbels! Out of Milwaukee, but often in NYC. So cool. Nice red mask!

I can tell you this, New Yorkers don't go to Rolf's. It looks cool, but the food is subpar the service is bad, and it's over priced, even for NYC.

So it is normally a German restaurant, and they serve traditional Thanksgiving dinner on Thanksgiving. I’d say, it’s not the BEST Thanksgiving food. The food that has kept them open is their German food. So if you are not a traditionalist, order something German.

Their decorations go up Nov 1st. You do need to make reservation pretty far in advance. If something happens and you can’t get one you could always just go get a drink at the bar.🥰. I hope you go!

Kimpton Hotel Eventi. Moderately priced and blocks from Macy’s. Good enough service for the price, but nothing spectacular. But fit this trip perfectly.

I’m so happy for you! It’s called Rolf’s and it’s East of the Flat iron building. You need reservations. If you can’t get one, you can stop in for a Christmas drink at the bar
