That goodwill used to be really good years ago. It was really packed and stuffed until they made it more "curated", started keeping way less racks and stuff in that store and really raised the prices. I have pretty much stopped going there.

I like exactly the way you do your videos you talk through everything you try everything on I wouldn’t change a thing is my opinion. Goodwill and now a lot of the other thrift stores are following suit and getting way out of second hand price range. It’s going to drive people to solely buy on websites like Poshmark and Etsy and forget about the thrift stores altogether.😂

Thrift store prices are really annoying lately. My guess is that a ton of the overpriced stuff does not sell and ends up in the landfill😢 not to mention how much time the store employees have to spend on it. I have better luck in small charity shops but not always. I do like that you style things several ways. Sometimes 1 good item you love is better than a ton of things that you wear once or not at all or just do not feel awesome wearing.

I am so over Goodwill and their insane price increase- I make a point to not donate to them anymore- I only donate to charity shops and Salvation army for what they do.

A few years ago I learned that Goodwill doesn't even put their good stuff in their stores, they sell it on eBay. I used to hunt for silk scarves and I would find them at other thrift stores, but never at Goodwill. Finally, I asked a manager why there were never any silk scarves at Goodwill and was told that all silk scarves or anything else really good gets sold on eBay where people have to bid for it. I think that's why you're finding clothes with cigarette holes, etc., in the store. They're putting the really good stuff online and making people bid for it.

isnt there some government environmental agency that can accuse goodwill of worsening the eco crisis by doing things like having outrageously priced items? that stuff ends up at the bins, an overwhelming pile in Africa, landfill, waterways....
