Sometimes life is so overwhelming, hang in there your perseverance will pay off. Both my daughters live in different cities alone and have called me multiple times in full on melt down mode. Don’t apologize for real feelings. Having a nonjudgmental ear to talk to helps. So I’m sending you a virtual Mom hug that’s what they always miss when in crisis.Take care.

I went through a very similar situation at the end of last year (end of long term relationship, health complications, trouble with my job, car problems, cross-country move, and visa issues all within a couple months) and it was such a comfort to hear you talk about your experience. Every single thing you mentioned was a thought I had then - and sometimes still have about my current state of life. Your emotions are valid and you're not alone in what you're going through, even when you feel lonely. I feel like I'm nearly through with all of it now but the only thing I can say is don't beat yourself up about getting upset or feeling bad! 💗

One of the reason that I’ve been watching you for the past couple of months is becuase you are vocal about your heath anxiety and the whole thing. I was going through some weird bad mental health stuff when I found you and hearing you talk about your stuff made me feel less alone and made me feel like things do get better. They have for me and I’m hoping that everything else with you appointments and insurance get better cuz it really does suck. And I completely understand what you mean when you say that you can’t do anything else when you have such a big thing looming over you.

I relate to you so much Alexis! I really really appreciate your candor about the health anxiety, and I hope in talking about it in your vlogs you feel less alone. I'm 31 and extremely fortunate to have an amazing life and everything I've always wanted, much like yourself, but I also have health anxiety and have spiraled many times about mysterious health issues. I had to get a biopsy of my thyroid a few years ago (was your age) and was just a complete nervous wreck. I went to a piano concert with a friend during the week that I was waiting for the results and was crying and confiding in him about it and he treated me like I was insane! Which totally hurt and made me feel truly crazy. Luckily for me, everything turned out completely fine and not serious at all, and I'm thriving and FAR less anxious about things now than I was then. It's wonderful to remind yourself that things could be much worse and to be grateful for everything you have, but always remember that no matter how fortunate you are in life, things can still be really hard and exhausting and it's okay to be upset (I think you know this). I'm down in FL wishing you well, and hoping that you feel less alone when you read the comments!

Hi, Alexis..... not sure if you like this suggestion, but here's my fave & easiest way to prepare chicken. You might like it because it's a time saver & you can get other things done in your home while it's cooking. And, you can meal prep this way, too..... here goes: 3 to 4 chicken breasts in a pyrex ( or whatever you can bake in ) Brush your chicken breasts with olive oil & a marinade / season the way you like ( if you brush the breasts w olive oil, it will hold in the juices/ tenderness of the chicken ) You can add baby carrots all around your chicken breasts or halved ruby red potatoes Black pepper & seasonings Put foil on top of your pyrex & put little holes in the foil so that it steams well Bake for 45 minutes at 425 Farenheit This will come out so juicy, tender & DELICIOUS! It makes a lot, but you can freeze what you can't eat & thaw when needed. Your apt will smell delicious while it bakes & you can get lots done while it's baking. This is why it's my favorite way to prepare chicken...... I put it in the oven, set the timer & walk away! Sometimes I prep it early on and then feel like I have dinner ready to go, just pop in the oven! Bon Apetite! Ann. : )

Some years are just really tough, and insurance is never fun to deal with (even if you get it through a traditional 9-5 job). I’m 25 and just had back surgery this year, and it felt like never ending appointments and payments and phone calls and feeling like I was the only person who cared about such a major surgery. Maybe try swatching the foaming cleanser behind your ear or somewhere near your face (since it’s more sensitive than the rest of your skin) to see if it flares up. Then you’ll know for sure if it’s part of the problem. Also isn’t the foaming one an acne cleanser? You might be sensitive to the acids in it

I think you should look into getting a food tolerance test, you may not be allergic to gluten or dairy or something but you could still be intolerant, which causes inflammation in the body and leads to auto immune disorders. Even if you don't get stomach issues from certain foods, it could still be causing inflammation that shows up in different ways.

Trains are fun. I have that same cat toy but my 2 cats don’t play with it any more, lol. It sounds like the rash is related to skin products (your friend’s that you used this time). What did the allergy Dr say? Our daughter Leah tried & liked the Apple cold drink at Starbucks. You might like that since you like the Apple Greek yogurt-though I know you love your Dunkins coffee! 😊❤ I do the same thing about coffee & wind up going out & buying it…though I do make it at home sometimes. I’ve been trying decaf more. You don’t have to apologize about panicking. It’s understandable about the stress especially with all the stupid phone calls, waiting, insurance change, etc. Praying peace for you & a good report with your biopsy. I loved seeing NY in the rain. I enjoy seeing different parts of your city (I live in KC, Missouri). Do you ever take Ubers or Lyfts? That’s a lot of walking! That bagel sounds amazing & with the coffee! Hey, maybe try seeing a naturopath since you’re not getting answers with traditional doctors. Also you should keep a journal of everything you eat, and any products you put on your face and then when you get flare ups. You may find a pattern. Also my husband has an autoimmune disease and he flares with any stress!!!! Stress is the number one thing with autoimmune diseases.

Alexis i just wanted to say i really get what you are going through from my own experience. Just wanted to share with you something that really helped me with anxiety and health issues. From what you explain in the last videos it seems like there is definitely a lot of stress in your body. All these health issues could be a sign for trauma in your body. Most people think trauma is some horrible, obvious event that happened and as that is not something that they remember happening to them they assume they don't suffer from trauma responses. However trauma is just unresolved energy, stress that your nervous system and body couldn't deal with. It does not have to be any particular "horrible" event but can really be a lot of stress that your body didn't have enough resources to deal with. Any kind of Situation can lead to trauma in your body. Cronic stress can lead to trauma. It also often happens in early childhood years that we even don't remember growing up. Maybe we have been neglected or whatever we migt have experienced as children. Children are super sensitive and it is "easy" to get traumatized as we often don't get the necessary safe space to deal with overwhelming emotions and situations. Even when parents are super nice they could just oversee something or not hold space for fear and emotional pain just because they don't know how and don't always know what the child is experiencing on an emotional level. Children need a safe space to go through their emotions so that their nervous system can actually build resilience instead of getting constantly under stress. Especially as sensitive children and you seem you be a sensitive person like me. The body just shows when something is not ok. That is just an example. It could honestly be anything. I am speaking from a lot of experience with trauma healing and i literally had all kinds of health issues until i started working with my body & nervous system. Because my anxiety was so intense. I still need to work with it every day to keep myself calm and not fall back into anxiety attacks. I needed to tell you all this because i have been following allong the past few videos and clearly the more i see the more it reminds me of my own situation and the more i see all these symptoms you have the more i assume a deep connection there. Again i am not sugggesting anything or telling you what to do. You know best what you need to do. But i can only speak from my experience to search "deeper". Because it really has a lot to do with our Nervous system when things like that happen. Stress can lead to anything. And trauma is really a serious issue. It is not the event, but the overwhelm of the nervous system , the reaction to stress, that causes trauma. So yeah, you don't need to remember with your mind. Because this is memory that you body has stored and there is no better sign for it than when your body reacts. Even if your conscious mind doesn't understand the body speaks clearly and can not be overheard, as you see with your health issues. There are many "somatic therapists" that actually work with your body and search "deeper". Honestly many health issues heal just when you heal the ampunt of stress that has been stored in your body for so long. Many symptoms and illnesses can be cured in connection with the root cause, the trauma itself. So when you cure your health symptoms it is important to surely deal with the medical treatment part, but it is also so important to work on the root cause , because your body is clearly showing you something is going wrong. Our bodies are suuuuper intelligent and they just show signs when there is something not in alignment with us. Our bodies are wise and when we listen to them we will surely be surprised how much changes. Also , the diet plays a huge role. I cannot stress enough how much has changed for me from eating differently. Eating more fresh food, vitamins, minerals, a lot of "greens" . Also i love coffee but coffee literally is the worst for oir nervous system. When you are dealing with anxiety it is one of tue biggest triggers. I literally have just felt soooo mich less anxious after stopping my coffee consumption. I know how hard it is nut just neing super honest with you, its really a game changer. Generally more self cooked food, less premade food, more fresh vegetables, fruits & especially greens like wild plants/herbs are amazing. Just read more about it if you are interested you will be shocked how many vitamins and minerals these little green "bombs" contain. Living in the city is beautiful but it also brings a lot of issues. We as Humans suffer from being seperated from nature, healthy foods ecc. So yeah, being in nature is something i can also suggest from my own experience. It is something that will change you life. The body gets charged and energized and at the same time gets so much rest. Nature is a healer itself and the benefits of walking barefoot on the grass is scientifically proven. You can say i am a hippie or crazy person. But once you have anxiety and health issues you start searching deeper and you start finding all these things you might have though as "crazy" and weird. Medicine, pills are really just one part and often don't really solve the problem. Its the whole lifestyle, our mental, emotional and physical well being that has a hge impact on our health. And much more than some might think. If you need further information or help you can ask me anything. I am no doctor, i am just a person like you (27 years old) that has been through a lot and has found ways to REALLY help my whole body & nervous system when all the medical care and even "normal" therapy just couldn't help me and was'nt enough. Much love to you. Everything will be ok. Daria❤

Also vitamin B12 is really good for your nervous system and general health of course. Healthy fats and proteins would help as well. See what diet could support your body ,because all these skin issues are never just on the surface. As i said before, stress and also a healthy diet are so important, because your skin just shows whats going on inside your body. Much love!
