What game is the opening with the waving character from? Also such an interesting concept, imagine an interation of WoW with the whole story line of each expansion but turned into something like a dungeon crawler type game, go out to quest with NPCs then back to current hub, I think a single player WoW like that would be pretty cool. I've missed a lot of the story because of inconsistent subscriptions and not being able to keep up, now if I were to go through it then it would only be half the story, and it's such a mess. I know people play it for the end game but it'd be nice to have a story/adventure option too.

That's EverQuest Online Adventures. What i created my channel in honor of. EQ/EQOA had something like that, it was called Champions of Norrath, made by the Baldurs Gate devs. Sadly never got an HD rerelease.

@@EQOAnostalgia Thanks! I do like these single player MMO type games, I think I have Champions on a wishlist for whenever I get around finding a way to play it. Have you heard of or tried Dungeon Lords? The steam edition is the only way now unless you want to find the other edition on ebay. It feels to me just like a tab targeting MMO with the hotbar abilities and talents but it's single player and no party members iirc (but steam has multiplayer up to 8). Scratches an itch when I don't want to pay subscriptions lol.

could you list what mods/addons you are using? im kinda interested in this but its been something like 10 years since i played wow live and my old man brain just somehow can't figure out how to go through the process of finding and testing all the mods anymore.

I used a most of these kzbin.info/www/bejne/eIDKnXmGfZWsotk I'm using darker nights mod found on TWoW discord as well. Bagnon, PFquest, i don't use PFui, i hate the generic look of it, atlas, atlas loot, atlas quest, cartographer, CCP, Chronometer, Cmap,DPSmate Fubaratlas, gatherer, shagutweaks, nyctermooncontextmenus for companion shortcuts and other server specific commands like heroic dungeon toggle etc.

Thank you. 10 years ago i hated the idea of companions in games like EQ2, but with the way the world is now, and how everyone is so divided, i rather just skip the drama bs and do it alone or with my wife and bots lol.
