Andy was a Master Observer of body language and sensing apprehension and nervousness in people that were acting both suspicious and guilty... he could see it on people like it was literally pouring off of them and he knew how to pounce on it, like a cat with a mouse...

It wasn’t just a look, but how the guy was avoiding him. It would be one thing if they had bad business dealings but it was the opposite. So why don’t you want to talk to a guy whose child was abducted? It’s those subtle things that make it great storytelling.

Why people don't talk to the guys whose children died of cancer? You ever noticed how people disappear from you life when you going thru rough times? They stop calling, they even stop acknowledging you. Some people actively avoid people who has emotional baggage. Call it cowardice or whatever, but it happens very often.
