I appreciate the fact that a chief has to toe the line and quote numbers. To say the numbers are down means nothing when career, violent offenders are walking the streets. So, spare us the numbers which to be real are not even close to accurate. Anyone who knows enough, knows that these numbers get watered down by pct C/O’s and Comstat. While Eric Adams can be blamed for a lot of New York City issues this is not one of them. Eric Adams is solely responsible for giving away the city tax dollars to migrants. The only judges the Mayor appoints in New York is family court judges. The challenges with New York city crime lies with the New York City Criminal Court judges, these judges are elected and the voters seem to have no one to blame but themselves for electing judges that allow criminals to be released with out bail. Even if the DA's office requests bail the judge has the sole authority to override that request and let criminals go free. If New Yorkers want change then you better start voting with some common sense.

I was on the C train last night on my way home from work and there was a 6'5 black male on the train, mentally disturbed, who suddenly stood up and started punching the ceiling of the train and the windows. He was also air punching and mumbling how he wanted to kill someone. Just as i got up to switch cars at the next stop, he got off and switched cars. The police were not around. That could've turned out really bad, but this happens OFTEN. I don't want to hear about statistics and speeches. It's not safe here! There are way over 15 million people here, not counting the undocumented immigrants. There is no way the police force we have now can keep eyes all over this city. It's impossible. What's sad is that summer should be a fun time for all, but in New York, we DREAD it because crime gets rampant here.

The following is from the NYPD website February 2024 Across the city in February, the number of shootings decreased 15.9% (53 vs. 63) compared to a year ago, resulting in 16 fewer people shot - a 19.8% reduction (65 vs. 81). Hello!?!? DA and judge reform is needed right now! I'm telling you that if a liberal DA or Judge's child were affected and I mean god forbid killed or otherwise attacked, I would bet they would want that individual prosecuted to the full extent of the law. How can they sit up there and let these criminals out, what? Because they want to give them chances? Do they feel sorry for them when they committed armed robbery and scared the shit out of somebody, or worse, raped or killed someone. Or even just threatened them with a gun? Do they think letting them out with a "shame on you" don't do this again is okay? Wow, what the hack are they thinking?!?
