@@tothemoon2151 No no no...look up the flashback scene in the shinra mansion (explains Zack and is part of the ORIGINAL game). The entire backstory of Cloud and his convoluted persona has EVERYTHING to do with Zack.
@RealGeizterfahrer3 жыл бұрын
@@tothemoon2151 There is a pretty long scene about Zack and Cloud, which took place before the game begun. It's easily missable though, since you have to go into the basement of the Shinra manor for absolutely no reason pretty late in the game. The scene shows how Zack broke out of one of the tanks, freed Cloud and how they travelled to Midgar. Zack tells Cloud that he's going to become a mercenary. Cloud is... a vegetable. All he says is "..." and "uuuuuu". Right before Midgar Zack gets killed, Cloud grabs his sword (and clothes) and then the scene fades out. This was all part of the original game. I do agree though, that Zack isn't really important for the game. Yes, the whole game is about how Cloud thinks he's Zack, but Zack really isn't more than "just some random guy". A random guy who saved the game's main character. Zack is kind of a chicken mother... The first person Cloud saw when he got out of the tank. He left an impression on him. But his importance for FF7 basically stops there.

I know its a little late, but if you look at the dialogue of both Tifa and Aerith's date scenes, neither one is actually attempting to 'confess' to Cloud, its more that they are trying to, for lack of a better word, call him out, but in a nicer way. The entire concept of the date scenes is that, Tifa knows that there is something wrong with Cloud, since she has known him for most of her life, and is aware of the little inconsistencies in his recollection of things, but is too shy/afraid to lose him, to actually bring up, what she sees as a sensitive subject, while Aerith is far more outgoing, but doesn't know the details, so she can't actually call Cloud on his crap. That being said, I suppose that Tifa did use the fireworks as an excuse to drop the difficult to bring up subject.

Hi Nyxi, i love jigglypuff too! Welcome to the FFVII obsession discussion. First, I loved how emotional you got while making the FFX reaction video. It was almost as watching myself do the reaction videos but I'm too shy for a boy to show or let alone say how I feel. I gotta thank the Final Fantasy Series for that. I picked it all up from FFVII when I was 13 years old then FFVIII, then FFIX and finally FFX. I later welcomed FFXIII and that's where I'm at. It's great to find channels like yours to vent how much of an impact a game helped us through teenage hood or how much of an impact it made on us. When people get in touch with their feelings and is not afraid to express them, it's a beautiful thing to see. Don't change. Never do. Stay true to your roots and keep "leveling up" in life. It's a word that hasn't been invented yet but we Final Fantasy fans can feel it. It resonates with us. Love to you, the bunnies and our ever expanding Final Fantasy family now and forever! I mean, you’re not really dead in battle- you’re KO’ed, well, knocked out. Meaning you’re unconscious... But in cutscenes you’re dead. D e a d

So how does a sword kill you but something like supernova only ko’s you? LOL video game logic.
@Walamonga13133 жыл бұрын
@@ladistar Cause obviously supernova is fractional damage, so it would never kill you 😏 Even irl

I just watched your final fantasy 10 video, and I just wanted to tell you how awesome these videos are! They're so full of life and your reactions are so genuine that it makes the games feel so brand new. Love it! Also cant wait for part 2!

Depending on your interactions with Aeris and Tifa you could've gone on a date with Aeris instead of Tifa. You can also go with Barret lol.
@nicholascassar45203 жыл бұрын
yeah although the most common one people get is the Aeris date

Its always interesting to see great and sad moments in video game history through the eyes of the young/first timers. Having played it a million times the impact has worn off,but through you we get to experience those feelings again. I hope you enjoyed the rest of the playthrough and saw all optional cutscenes,including the one in the Shinra Mansion thats shows what happened to Cloud and a certain someone. Anyways i've been enjoying your KZbin clip compilations on FF games so keep on doing them.

I know this was a while ago but this video made me a subscriber. Ever since the first Final Fantasy I had a ritual where I would get the game and play it non-stop till I beat it. FF7 was the first one where I did not. I remember watching this scene and then throwing my controller down and not playing for another 2 weeks. It is good to see someone get this reaction from this scene, it was heart breaking.

You're really entertaining to watch! I wish you posted more often, you could probably get more videos out of these long games. You seem genuinely entertaining so I'm sure you have enough funny footage out of these playthroughs!

My favorite game of all time. I see you knew about the major spoiler which is a shame because experiencing that when you didn't know it was coming (especially after working so hard to build her levels) was truly a shock. I personally consider that the second saddest scene of the game. The scene where Red XIII finds out his stone-turned father wasn't really a coward actually hits me harder.
@RaynaDJ2 жыл бұрын
Holy shit I thought I was the only person who thought this! That scene with Red's dad full of arrows absolutely broke me. By far the saddest part of the game, I was an absolute mess lmao.

You got randomly recommended to me and I gotta say i'm really enjoying watching you play my old fav games, it makes me feel like the first time I played with all its ups and downs and you appreciate things the same way I do/did even after many replays... It's very touching and wholesome to see the raw emotion and the viewer really feels it with you ;-;

this game will always take me back to when I was sitting in my brother's room, and my best friend was there who introduced me to this game. I was 8. my friend has died since then unfortunately. I remember when quality of life was very different. This game is one thing that makes me remember that. When I am burnt out and every day seems the same, sometimes I try to remember

I cried when Aerith died too. It went a little something like this: "Why did she have to die!? I wasted all that time leveling her for nothing! I shouldn't have neglected you, Barrett waaaaaaaaaaaah!"

I watched this all the way through and I felt Aeriths death so hard that a teardrop came out of my eye. It was nice to share the mourning of Aerith with @Nixipuff. Thank you for posting this - you showed my favorite game in the whole world it’s well deserved respect the whole way through.

I still remmember, in 98, when I got to the Gold Saucer for the first time, the music just stuck in my head for two long weeks 😁😁😁 Your video brought good memories back, thanks for that.
