HELLO FRIENDS💓 Hope yall caught the night timelapse at the end ( credits to weets✨)
This vlog we started our day in my FAVOURITE campground @Driftaway Queenstown, located at Frankton Beach which 15mins drive away from main Queenstown. Check out my previous vlog for a full camp ground tour🫶🏻
Spending the morning by the beach is always such a blessing because what’s a vacation if you don’t find time to relax to?🤤 Then, we found parking at Earl Street which was just opposite Erik’s fish and chips which was so delicious! Unfortunately for us, it was drizzling a bit if not it would have been a perfect meal to have by the bay area😔🤘🏻
Then we went to explore the city area and there are certainly countless things to do! More than good eats, they are also packed with adventurous activities like jet skiis but we had to head off to our next destination🫡
In Arrowtown which is just 25mins~ drive from Queenstown, we explored the Chinese Settlement Town which was a historic gold mining ground where the Chinese miners stayed. The old huts and history was very intriguing and not to mention the gorgeous sakuras peppered around the area 🌸🌸🌸
After we left, we attempted to find our campsite but failed 3 times before we stumbled upon Glacier Burn Track, where I drove in dirt paths, at almost sun down to reach. It was a terrifying but exciting drive and safe to say I’m still here alive🤣 If you truly want to experience the NZ star gazing experience, would highly recommended to find free DOC( Department of Conservation) campsites away from civilisation and really be in the wilderness✨🌌🌠 Hope this vlog sparked joy for you as it did for me💖
