My very first build was in the nzxt h510, now my daughter is rocking it and I have the new 2024 nzxt h7 flow, the h7 flow was really nice to build in and it turned out super clean and tidy, a big step up from the old h510 ✌️

The PSU is offset from the shroud fans so it's not such an issue.

That's because it is. The H5 comes with two very bad DC fans, whilst the XT comes with FOUR ratzer good 140mm PWM fans.

The nzxt h5 flow prior to this new 2024 model felt very cheaply built, with very thin metal and it felt light and cheap. Has this new version improved on the build quality? Is it more sturdy feeling ? Thicker steel ?

Great review. If you had to pick between H5 Flow (2024) and H7 Flow (2024), what would you choose?

That would depend on the build, If I had a CPU that needed a 360mm AIO radiator I would choose the H7.

@@KitGuruTech I will be upgrading to a 9800x3d with 7900 xtx. I prefer air cooling, so I'm looking for either a Thermalright or Noctua CPU cooler. My current case is a Bequiet 500dx, so I'm not sure if it's worth changing this to a H5 Flow 2024 or H7 Flow 2024.

The fans on top of the PSU are "inspired" from DeepCool cases. And much like in DeepCool's, they have almost no effect LOL.

Phanteks xt pro is cheaper and comes with four really god 140mm fans. With the H5 flow you wanna ditch the shitty dc controlled fans and then you are stuck with having to get 120s, which adds to the cost. I think the H5 flow as it is should cost 60€ max!

I like it but like almost all the cases they make the top with fine mesh which is almost always exhaust or they make it with large holes with slots for the AIO and add a filter to cover the slots. The way this is made would be ok if had a removable bracket and larger holes in the cover. The I/O Is Just OK and should have at least 1 more USB port and for me as a small case I would have the I/O on the front for easy Desk Top access.
