Not many sides make it to finals that often and under Southgate they made it twice. Whether you like it or not, he is England's most successful manager after Alf Ramsey. This is excuse of the players being ''amazing'' or what ever, has been said for decades. Maybe the players aren't as good as the media/pundits would have you believe? Fundamental errors were made in the tournament by players, this isn't the managers fault. Maybe the English mentality isn't strong enough.

Eddie Howe is my only pick. Klopp and Pep are completely unrealistic. Howe plays with fast, tricky wingers. Not sure if Potter would be a bit too similar to Southgate. Sean Dyche would be entertaining to listen to, with his...ehmmm...unique voice. Howe/Potter we all know it's more than likely going to be one of those two. Nothing against them they are good British managers who will do a good job but that's all. What have they won? Have they won anything on the world stage? NO Choosing either of those will get England exactly to where they are now which is the nearly men. We have a great squad capable of winning the 2 big prizes so what you need is a manager who is a proven serial winner. And as much as i'd like it to be a british/English manager the only man who can turn England into a winning team is the coach at Manchester City.
