O Heavenly King - A Prayer to the Holy Spirit

This prayer is an example of the cross-fertilisation of rites, as what is good and beautiful in one part of the Church can be embraced in another.
Borrowed from the Byzantine Rite, this prayer features in Western Orthodox services and private devotions, and is here sung by the choir of Saint Melangell's Orthodox Church to the Kyivan stikheron version of tone 6, with distinctive harmonies by Deacon Maxime Kovalevsky, which he arranged specially for Western Rite usage.
