What pens do you use? I have paint pens that I bought that were ultra fine but I cannot write my letters to be that crisp. The paint comes out too thick even with the ultra fine paint marker. Am I doing something wrong or do you have an idea of better pens I should purchase? Thank you.

There is a link in the description to an Amazon shop containing the ones I will list below :) I use the Posca PC-1MR for the white on this. That has more of a felt tip style. For the silver I used Artistro extra fine tip. That will have a pointier tip to it. I use those most of the time for lining... my white is just out. I also use the Posca 1M (extra fine tip) for writing often too. Make sure you shake them up really well before writing so the paint is flowing well. I hope that helps!

When you 'thicken' the lines on the down stroke, which side of the line do you thicken? Left or right? Simplistic yet beautiful... Happy Holidays

I really do it based on where I have the space. Often it is an opportunity to fix any lines that are messed up too. I would say my go to is the left side. BUT, if there is extra space to the right to fill to make it look right I will do it that way. I hope that makes sense!
