O.J. Simpson, the former football star and central figure of a sensational 1995 murder trial, died from prostate cancer on Wednesday. Simpson was found not guilty of killing his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman. The charges, the trial and the verdict exposed a dramatic divide among Americans along racial and cultural lines. Bill Rhoden, a columnist for ESPN's "Andscape" who covered Simpson for decades, talks to "CBS Mornings" about Simpson's complicated legacy.
Each weekday morning, "CBS Mornings" co-hosts Gayle King, Tony Dokoupil and Nate Burleson bring you the latest breaking news, smart conversation and in-depth feature reporting. "CBS Mornings" airs weekdays at 7 a.m. on CBS and stream it at 8 a.m. ET on the CBS News app.

It is scary to watch five adults agreeing this is "complicated". I have never seen such strong evidence against a man. There were blood drops from O.J. on the left side of his left bloody footprint, and O.J. has a cut on his left finger. On and on... I mean... Is Weinstein "complicated"? is Bill Cosby "complicated".

Terribly funny how the media then and now still won’t expose the known truths. Goldman was a documented low tier coke dealer, Nicole, Kris K, Faye resnik, and her girlfriends were all coke madame liaisons…. She crashed out unfortunately and thought she was a drg queen pen but soon owed the big dogs cash, and later got deleted for it. Oj knew it was coming but didn’t know from where exactly, and he never snitched cuz he had other family to protect from harms way…..that’s why there were so many documented fights and arguments between he and nicole,,,, she brought what they did in the club to the house around the kids. Goldman sold coke at his tennis club, and out of the Mezzaluna restaurant he worked at, Along with other staff there, it was a known mid post spot in hollywood. That’s why there were two other murders of Goldman friends around the same time. Goldmans stepmom was an ex wife of a drug dealing corrupt atty, and his dad may have been a drug asset as well. SMH good ole fashion cover ups and suppressed info due to racial elements. Btw: do u really think a brotha could get away with offing two Caucasians in such a high profile case?….heck no! Ppl stop believing the mainstream media, they are the grimiest voices of them all, they feed the lies, and influence the populous for their own twisted agendas. Rip oj. Nicole, Goldman cuz the hollywood drug world is a nasty game to play with. The double murders of Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson overshadow everything OJ did in his life he will always be known as a killer, back in 1994-95 was a dark area for a lot of people back then, I remember coming out of a bad relationship I had to end at the end of 1993 then the following year two people was butchered at the hands of OJ I believe on the night of June 12th, 1994, then the slow car chase that interrupted my Knicks vs the Rockets NBA Finals, then the Trail of the Century which 96 million people was glue to their tv watching the trail, during that time on April 11, 1995, a hospital in NYC accidentally killed my mother with too many meds causing her to have a heart attack and died on my brother's wife birthday, I was going through the pain of losing her while this trail was going on, the early 90s was dark days for me, I pray for OJ'S children that the Lord will give them the strength to go through the lost of their father.
