O Praise Ye The Lord: All Saints Church Oystermouth Swansea

Here today at All Saints Church the most featured organ on youtube you won't get none better! I was in All Saints Sunday evening for the festival chorale evensong service and one of the hymns was this the rousing "O Praise Ye The Lord" It had the Organ Fanfare which I start off with it also had the "Descant" arrangement I think it was the Wesley Arrrangment very grand I will do this hymn again in due course with that arrangment.
This took about 8 Takes to do I felt like giving up but I hanged on and nailed it.

Thank you so much for posting, Rob. You must have had a great night of Music at Choral Evensong, last Sunday. The "AMEN" in this rousing Tune is fantastic. I know it via "Ye Servants of God." I've been only once at Choral Evensong, Rob, in St. Paul's Cathedral 20 years ago when Vera and I spent a weekend in London. And thank you for listening to my blethers, reminiscences etc, Rob! That was very good indeed, Rob, rousing stuff more of the like. I was expecting the double 'Amen' in the final verses as in the A&M setting ... Strange, that the Methodist Books don't include this hymn, neither the 1933 MHB, the H&P of the 80's nor the latest 'Sing the Faith' - the tunes there, but not the words: I don't know why.

Can you play a few modern songs on the organ. I mean perhaps Beetles, Elton John, U2, Pink Floyd etc Famous bands who've had hits everyone knows. But not to modern. Cheers Rob!

i don't like organs, they make it sound mixed together. The piece is very nice though!
