I did though! Although I was a hula and tahitian dancer since age 5... 😊 It''s just really all in the knees and that you have to bend them.. Because of this, I was so good playing with the hula hoop as a kid...

@@gwapakaayobabe I just started taking classes and I am 55. I am NO where near as good as these ladies and I am 40 pounds overweight but my Fa'arapu is getting much better since I started in January. It really is all about the knees and I love when I get relaxed enough that I can hear my fat hitting together :) It is a great way to exercise and I have loved learning about the culture. I have dreams of going to Tahiti one day and seeing in person just how beautiful it is and watching the dancers in person.

I used to belly dance, so I really appreciate the subtle but important differences in the techniques used. Hip movement is much more rotational, they up on their toes (which allows for greater range of movement but is also significantly more effort) and the gorgeous synchronization of the group which indicates hours and hours of practice. Just, wow.

When you have something everyday you'll get used to it and will eventually take it for granted. A lot of people here and there take things for granted that other people like. I've seen this too much and took it for granted growing up, but as a grown man I've come to appreciate what I have that others don't. I'm in Arkansas right now tho and I'm appreciating the cold weather and cheap prices and beautiful Mexicans and white people(Not racist).

You need to wrap something around your hips, as low as possible. It helps even more if there some bells like belly dancers. These ladies have been training from young age. Always a pleasure to see such folk dance performances

There are muscless around belly and up from hips Thar is where move is comming from Try to get into plank...and then try to move you hips.. tight the belly...that strenght you need to move only hips in plank... that is who you need to be when standing up...really strong in core In plank is how those musclees relax and are able to vibrate like this..when you do ti long time in plank... then your body learns who to do it and then you can do it standing up Its only 2 muscless..and belly muscless that make this look like this Its not about the knees..knews need to be bend..not a lot.. but not so much movement from knees bcs its bad for knees Im a belly dancer..so this is something like shimmy is..only in cirlce Its not that hard when you know which musclles to engage If anyone wants me to make a video i can..on how to do this.. but not publick..only on inbox
