O12 Torchlight video reaction

Wetwork is usually used to describe assassin black ops type of unit. So it probably has infiltration or forward deployment type skill.

The theme for the Torchlight is initial assault, or lead units to carry the torch for others to follow on and carry the breach or initial landing. Also the Dropship in the back!

I’m really hoping for a MO/IA crossover. O12 is the crossover faction and this would be great. High order, low model, close combat focused.

I'm torn out of the nine I love the Nimrod, but lukewarm towards the others. But I love the Jackboots and the totally not Cammy from Street Fighter.

Silverstar rovers are line troops. So they won't be drop. I think the backpacks will just be cylinders like some of the nomad stuff. At best, they would provide super jump. AD = Atmospheric Deployment, They have only ever included one in a faction box and that looks to be the yellowjackets for this box. Also, you should learn the weapons a little better. The rover with the bag has a HMG and the yellowjacket is a SMG. On another note, the prime does look like a flamethrower but the box says it's an HMG.

Good point - I even have a poster of the guns on my wall but still don’t recognise them as easily as I could with 40k units.

@@the_infinitygamermost likely an Alguacile with MultiSniper. I can always have more Alguacile model options. I could also potentially use her as a gender-swap Knauf proxy. I like the model a lot so I’ll find an excuse to include her in my army. 😂

Those blades feel very 40k or Warcraft for me. Pretty fantasy kind of. Feels a little strange in Infinity. But the yellowjackets and the Nimrod look amazing!

They look massive but it makes sense given they are wearing power armour and just being able to put a large heavy chunk of metal into things tends to break them.

I'm quite interested in this set. I've had a set of 0-12 since wildfire but just never went through with them. But now after seeing these I'm definitely interested in jumping back in. I wonder what they have planned for the sectorial could we possibly see a second TAG for O-12 or what the fireteam options would be like.

That’s a good point. Each of the lists I’ve built have included a Silverstar Rover with tinbot to reduce this.

@@the_infinitygamer it's just another way to play infinity. Armies that don't have the upfront survivability of TLB like Shas are going to struggle to crack this nut.

At least the lack of MSV (Prime, Vidocq, Nimrod and Psi Cop main carriers) with epic weapons (Prime excluded) means mimetism factions like Shas do OK.
