Looks like your O2 sensor connectors are the same as mine (2×2 connector). I initially got the wrong O2 sensor extensions (1×4 connector) from TSP when I ordered my headers and would have given them to you. Nice quick fix and you know you ain't gonna fix it until the O2 sensor goes bad lol.

not sure if anyone would read this but where would you buy wires for the o2 sensor. My o2 sensor wire is okay but the wire that my o2 sensor wire is connected to is broken. Its the wire connected to my catalyic converter and im trying to trace it but it goes deeper and deeper into the car and i dont have the right tools for it. Im pretty sure if i trace it well enough, it would be connected behind my radio. If anyone reads this, some advice would be highly appreciated. Thanks for your time :)

All 3 wires where cut sumone try to fix it with tape but wires where greasy and black and burnt....Thanks for the video I will try the same thing u did. I just hope who ever did it first hooked the right wires together in the first place....I'm having idle problems and misfires I'm thinking it's all from the o2 sensor wiring.

I had some warrenty work done from an after market company and i pick garage n pay $150 deductible Well they didnt secure my rear o2 wires going to my bank 1 sensor 2. Driver side rear I ran over a dead deer n ripped my pig tail right off the harness side end n now since i updated my SCT tuner via wi fi to see if any at all updates were released. My o2 wire was already ripped off at time i updated my tuner I went to remote start my car and it starts n thdn dies 5 seconds later Well my check engine light came on. My point is, if its a rear sensor. The only job is to see to read ur emmissions after your cats and if the reading is lower n cleaner than your first sensor. No dngine light cat or no cat. Thats why defoulers (sp?) Work. They take the sensor out of direct exhaust gasses. So they technically are cleaner. Your car should run ok on a rear o2 problem

Don't buy extension harnesses, solder joints with tin/lead solder, lined shrink tube, and loom. That'll give you a more reliable connection than harnesses.
@chemicalspore Жыл бұрын
I bought extensions and put em in. This was temporary after i did the cam, heads and long tube headers swap
@garnetsuss4881 Жыл бұрын
@@chemicalspore I'd remove the extensions and solder extensions if I were you. Less resistance(more accurate readings) and more reliable connections. Use 60/40 flux rosin core solder and not too much heat. Be sure to use shrink tube with "glue/sealant" so you ensure a water tight seal, thwn wrap it in loom. Your wcm will get more accurate readings that way. Not saying that the extensions won't do tue house b, but if you want your air/fuel mixture to be as accurate as possible, good clean solder joints are the way to go.

I wish I knew more about this stuff though honestly. I’m having trouble with mine and I’m pretty sure my wire is messed up somewhere but I can’t find the problem without removing the transmission. If I had a diagram I could just run new wires without going through all that trouble but resources are hard to find for some reason.
