Yes जावेद साहब is 💯 correct! It's the perfect moment I see when he said nobody can imitate ARR and it only falls flat on their faces even when they did so! Also, when he talked about pre Rahman and post Rahman eras too he's simply spot on 🌟 shining the light on the ⭐'s truth without any doubt!! Also, songs of Mohenjodaro are yet to be understood by ARR die hard fans like me. Bose songs have a range that truly resembles our maestro in his full elements. It's a surprise to see these songs not getting their due despite being done by the finest composer on the planet only owing to its commercial value. Waiting for the upcoming episode of Sonu Nigam..a singer who should have stepped into this show long back!

ARR is unique. Not sure what more can one say? Swades music is SO good. Pukar, DIlSe, Taal, Lagaan, Saathiya, Ghajni, JodhaAkbar. There is no compromise on talent, and he will introduce new talent. All scores all movies are extraordinary.

i liked the way mr.shyam benegal defined and described a composer and a conductor and why ARR is called a maestro and definitely ARR gained this knowledge and experience working with another maesro Ilaiyaraja who was limited to tamil music and to some extent telugu, kannadda and malyalam and very small extent to hindi fillms but definitely that was a stepping stone for ARR and his own research hard work quest to be the best and his learning and experimenting and improvising and innovativeness fine tuned him to be the best among the worlds leading musicians whom he worked with and collaborated on many projects and still he is actively pursuing that education and perfection. yes we have been lucky to have genius' s like MS Viswanathan- ramamoorthy-joseph krishna then came ilaiyaraja and then came ARR but with due respect to all the greats they were very confined but ARR broke all those shackles and ruled the nation with his music and to a certain extent ruled the world as well and yes there were far and few who came in between but they didn't last long as these trio did like shanker ganesh, PB sreenivas, gangai amaran, and many more.

ARR started his music journey very young under his father first and then played/programmed keyboard for leading music directors in the 80s, a significant proportion for Ilayaraja. He was also applying his own ideas doing jingles on the side. It was the Leo Coffee advert in Tamilnadu which made director Maniratnam notice him and appointed him to score for Roja. The rest is history. Rahman has said in one of his interviews that working for Ilayaraja (IR) surrounded by some of the best musicians in India instilled the sense of discipline and skill that has helped him to be where he is now. In one interview ARR mentions how he admires IR for his personal discipline, good habits and morality as those in the music industry are surrounded by vices. Musicians fear IR for this as those who aren't disciplined personally and professionally cannot easily work for IR. ARR has done a great service through his KM Music conservatory to help budding musicians to learn and become world class musicians. He now extensively uses them for his projects alongside other musicians. Respect.
