Thank you for this tour of the North Shore! Love all your Hawaii videos, but especially this one with Yusaku. My husband & I met and married on Oahu in '75. Loved to hike to the waterfall in Waimea Valley. Lots of changes there when we last visited in '18. It was fun to watch your tour as I ate my breakfast this morning. ❤

The Lilikoi Cream Pie at Ted’s Bakery is to die for ! We did get the Chocolate Haupia as well but loved the Lilikoi more ! 15:21 Waimea Valley , $25 per adult - no thanks 18:47 Never too early for dessert 🤣🤣🤣🤣 20:15 WHAT - Peanut Butter on your burger ? In summary - a day out on the North Shore is not exactly a cheap day out if you have a family. Everything you did was about $90 Bucks. But as we all know , a tourist will do this.

Great recommendations. You pretty much hit up all the great spots. Glad you included Ted's Bakery. It was sad when they stopped selling those pies at the local grocery stores. Now you have to drive up to the North Shore to buy them. It's my Mom's favorite. Long drive for Mother's Day 😆

Hi Chris. I really enjoy your videos and watched the very long Waikiki beach and street walk tonight as we are planning a trip there soon. That was helpful! Thank you. Aside from that, on this one, you might have inadvertently stepped on some toes by showing some other creators vids in the background at the opening. I’m sure you meant no harm or insult there. Hawaii is a beautiful place and there are many great content creators that cover it and spread joy and happiness. No need to compare one to another.

Great video. Love the North Shore because it’s the exact opposite of Waikiki, no hustle and bustle or mega hotels. But that is also the downside of the North Shore because unless you Airbnb it, there are really only two places to stay: Turtle Bay or The Courtyard. Turtle Bay is pricey for what it is and it currently only has a 2.8 rating on Marriott Bonvoy. Not good.

Cool! The Kahuku food truck area is where we stopped on my first trip to Hawaii! I had Korean BBQ for the first time ever there and now I eat it frequently. There is a bathroom there where it's a long hall and a toilet up a few steps... Very weird and something my family always refers to when we see weird bathrooms (good memories!)

Indeed. Longs is owned by CVS in Hawaii too. They do stock the stores in Hawaii differently than in the mainland
