Love a good Oakwood vlog! Cant wait to get back on Megafobia next week, and really excited to see where the park goes next! That land they've fenced off is pretty large, would be amazing to see a new family coaster there, perhaps a Gerstlauer Bobsled or family coaster, would be an amazing fit!

Megaphobia just brilliant you just cannot beat a good woody. Speed very intense and scary to see Charlotte’s face is mega gold those g-forces. What a well laid out park and the fireworks were terrific.

I used to go to Oakwood every year as a child. My grandparents had a caravan not far away. In the 90s, there wasn't a staff member at the top of the bobsleigh 😂 You took your life in your hands 😂

I just learned today that one of my friends was one of the 2 designers for Megafobia. I knew he worked for CCI and has for years but have not talked to him for a very long time. Very cool and proud of him. He loves his job but what isn't there to love!! LOL! This is what he wanted to from a little boy!

Speed should have been considerably more intimidating with its beyond vertical drop and inversions but when actually on ride, it was Megaphobia that really racked my nerves - perhaps it was the screeching every time it took a bend - just felt like it was going to derail or something 😂

Im from WALES!!!!! Oakwood is my local, im so glad it's being refurbished the parks quality was getting abit deprived, im so glad their investing into it again, it has got so much potential. I went on Creepy Crawler 2 years ago and i decided to keep my cap on (SILLY ME) the blinking thing flew off as we were decending down the first little hill!!! For a small coaster i found it to be quite fast...anyway the ride operator very kindly went onto the track to the area my cap had landed so i did get it back. I now keep it as a reminder to TAKE IT OFF when i ride!!!...xxxx

Waterfall is a good ride and I think that if you go to Bluestone Resort there is a water park called Blue Lagoon and it's got 4 awesome water Slides!

Great to hear the Megafobia retracking was successful. I wonder if Gravity Group's engineered precut track will allow giant woodies again like Mean Streak and Texas Giant? At the very least, it seems to be the best way to refurbish a wooden coaster whilst keeping the core essence of the ride. On an unrelated note, I must admit I've never ridden Speed, but it looks incredibly intense.
