Its short and noisy, apologies but the weather is against us.
We spent the morning pumping out holes and then dropped back to get some metal cladding on this job.
As a lot of you will know, glazing is on a delay throughout the country, so this job is going a lot slower than hoped.
Anyway, here's an option for unseen elevations that require no maintenance, we have fixed them with 45mm roofing screws and rivets, both with colour coded finish.

A little tip with the drill pumps is don't put the chuck of the drill too close up the shaft to the back of the pump as it wears or blows the seals out, iv found that out the hard way. Learnt so many little tips from your channel so here's one back. Top channel!!

Was looking at my build plans today and for those who are considering building one of these Garden Rooms, I can tell you the plans from Liam are well worth the money. They include a huge parts list from Tool Station which in my opinion will save you loads of time and money. Looking forward to the summer so I can get started. Glad to see the weather not putting the team off. 👍👍

Did you choose metal corrugated sheeting instead of wooden cladding due to its fire protection qualities and because the room is close to the neighbours property ? I am currently building a wooden garage which is close to the neighbours property and was wondering whether to construct the wall on the neighbours side with corrugated steel so the garage will be be fire resistant. Fantastic job by the way.

@@thegardenroomguru hi again mate. We’ve hit a snag. Our gable is quite small so can only cus 25mm batons vertically not counter. Using metal cladding I had thought of taking a warm roof approach -> tyvek, batons, 25mm Celotex, flush metal panels. Do you think that would work or do you reckon still need a cavity? In which case we’d have to drop the Celotex. Running out of time and money - isn’t that the way! Cheers

Yes….even though he is putting it on wrong….I’m using this kind of material for the back & one side of my small build….make sure you use the polyester finish not the cheaper painted as the painted scratches too easily…..also it’s not advised to cut with a 9 in grinder as it generates too much heat on the cut & can not only burn the finish but also burn the galvanised coating too
