I have an Oase Filtral uvc 6000 filter pump in a small pond, been in 2 1/2 months. About every 2 weeks it seems to float up to the surface outlet end first. the first time it happened I was using it to pump water to a small waterfall, when I cam to the pond the outlet end of the pump was out of the water so no water was being pumped to the waterfall. The second time it happened I had diverted the flow from the waterfall to just the outlet on the pump to agitate the surface of the water when I went to see the pond the filter had floated up and was shooting water out of the pond hitting the wall of the pond and running back into the pond. I have just been out to see the pond and the pump has turned sideways and is shooting water just under the surface to the side of the pond. I tried to sink it but it just floats up again. What could the problem be and how can I stop this happening? when this happens I take the pump out and open it up, there does not seem to be that much muck in the filter pads.

On the 800 If rig a 1' fountain extension, shouldn't be any issuees right?

Ive been watching Ed - on the more expensive models can you control both inlets via the control - i need to control the flow to a bog filter.

Hi there, all of the Filtral models have the same T piece connections allowing you to regulate flow between the nozzle and a secondary outlet.

will the pump be strong enough to run a small water fall? the fountain doesn't look like it would be powerful enough.

Hi Andrew - All the Filtrals have the option to run a hose off the side of them, I would recommend discussing the flow requirements of your watercourse with your local Aquatic Dealer, they will then be able to advise which model size of Filtral would be suitable for your requirements! Can you use the fountain without the telescopic pole?. I want it as short as possible. Otherwise, it'll stick too far out of the surface.

You can use the Filtral with or without the telescopic pole to suit your preference.

Just opened the OASE 400 purchased during the pandemic, and the UV light doesn't work. Is it necessary for it to work? Presumably the locate/removal of the bulb is done the same way as the larger model?

It is not strictly necessary and will function without a working UVC bulb but it is recommended for optimal water clarity

Would not buy this as you have to buy extra kits when there are much cheaper same system and you get the fountain head thrown in

Only come accross this page after watching @mountain_aquatics using your products. They rave about your stuff. Check them out maybe a collab would be a good move.
