This song is my sister's and my favourite Oasis song. This song helped my sister a lot. She was fighting depression and attempted suicide twice. But when she first listened to this song her life changed. And now she happily married with 3 kids. And I'm a proud brother and an uncle. Thank you Oasis! Thanks a lot!

This was the song of choice in 2017. The darkest year of my life. Towards the end of 2017 I stood the fuck up, dusted myself off, took responsibility for my shit and took the necessary steps back to living. Earlier this year, I was on holiday with my partner, this song came on, randomly, and I remembered 2017 all over again. Never give up. Never stop fighting. Just keep going. I am living proof you can live again. The song was right.

I have a feeling that the people of today wouldn't 'get' a band like Oasis. What with growing up listening to crap like 'The X Factor' and other manufactured rubbish. Which, by the way, can't even come up with something original by themselves (most manufactured pop bands rehash old music and put some 'new' lyrics that they needed about 6 or 7 songwriters to come up with).

Who’s here from Butterfly Effect? Crazy relatable. 25 now but remember I always wanted to grow up so fast and now that I think about the past there’s so much I could change. But the important thing we have to remember is why we did the things we did. It was just us growing up. “You’ll never change what’s been and gone”. Live in the moment try to make every choice count and remember it’s okay to make mistakes. If you see this just know never to worry. We are on this planet in the middle of a random galaxy. Live life and enjoy every moment. ❤

This song is simplistic but powerful. I think the "Get up, come on" part is the most poignant part and makes the song. Liam's whiney achy vocal suits the mood, it's like trying to get someone out of a grief stricken depression... or get yourself up.

12 years ago I was lying in a hospital bed in intensive care in a coma. At the time I never knew if I was alive or dead. My family spent 2 weeks by my bedside. In that time I got told I theoretically died 3 times and my family got told I had a 5% chance of surviving and in that I had a 90% chance of being brain dead.. This song means sooooo much to me for all these reasons and I know I will see those dear to me that have passed over one day...and that life is such a precious gift that you have to enjoy every minute of it

@@CurlyFromTheSwirly I’d say you’re trolling with that comment, but as much as I love Oasis, if you think this is better than anything The Beatles done, you need to have a proper listen to their back catalogue. And any Oasis fan knows that their best albums were their first two. This doesn’t come close to any song on WSSMG, or any early B side for that matter. Still it’s not a bad song and fair play if you love it that much 👍🏻
