I am glad to inform you that Government of Kerala Recognized their gender officially and now runs supporting programs, and empowering them as well as given reservations for Government jobs as well as educational institutions. There are government as well as private institutions runs in kerala for their welfare and educations supported by Kerala. They made this historical decision by employing the transgenders in Kerala's first Metro rail positions with all Facilities such as PF. Bonus, Insurance, Pension etc. Also now they can apply for government jobs. It's not much, but it is a baby step for a great future.

Nancy loannidis Quick Update:- Excellent initiative by our Kerala CM. Kerala Government grands 2 hundred thousand rupees as helping hand for those transgenders,/transsexuals who wants to do gender reassignment surgery for those who cant afford the surgery. The message is clear Be yourself, live the life as the way you wanted!!!! #GodsOwnCountryForAreason

Rohit, I'm from New York... cows are a very good thing for me :) I like seeing them everywhere because they always seem so calm and content, but I especially love seeing them walking thru city streets! Experiencing different lifestyles is what travel is about for me.
