These are the opening tracks of their last album, "Rheia", which is mindblowing. If you want to check more of their work, I'd suggest to see them live, because they're unbelievable. I'd say "Needles in your skin" from the Audiotree live session, or "The Abyss Looks into Me" live @ Petit Bain, from their precedent album Eros/Anteros, great too. I love both albums so much that it hurts. Then, Caro Tanghe (the singer) is just amazing. As you say, you can feel the emotions flowing from her singing. She writes the lyrics and, as you might suspect, it is highly personal. She is by my favorite singers, I'd say a close #2 to the unreachable one, the almighty Julie freaking Christmas. Julie is out of this world. Both the porcelain and the one that breaks it with a baseball stick, with this Björk-like creativity and a psycho delivering. If you want to check her material, here are your options, all valid : - Battle of Mice - "Bones in the water", for the psycho side, and check the lyrics. Or "At the base of the giant's throat", creepy as hell. - Cult of Luna & Julie Chrismas - Mariner live at De Kreun (with the timecode 17,25). The song is called "The Wreck of S.S. Needle", and she just gives everything, holding back nothing, pure catharsis. - Made out of Babies - "How to get bigger", maybe the unofficial lyric video. A bit more groovy, noise/rock but still impressive. And something more ! The drummer has a "Cult Leader" shirt in this video. This band is great too. Try "The Broken Right Hand of God" live at the Audiotree live sessions. Ok, that's it, sorry for the long comment ahah. But I'm pretty sure you'll dig all of these tracks. Try one, maybe ? :)

When I first heard this song I was like wtf!!! But this song is actually not that bad either. Looks like a hard ass song to play on the drums though
