I love how Eddie dropped down in early super missiles and had to do a painful reset because of the PB door, while you decided not to and learned later in the game that your caution had paid off. Anyway: I have to say mad props to you oats for being such a good sport all the way through. I know how competitive you are and how much you hate to not be first, let alone come in dead last, let alone at an event! Proud of Imyt for the win and proud of you for taking the L with grace.

So why was that hell run in Maridia not in logic (or so Oats thought)?

you can do that room suitless with two tanks, essentially using the same dboosts that everyone did, but that's an expert strat. What might have been overlooked is that it's made a lot easier by having Gravity (lava+spike damage reduction, lava movement speed) at that point, bringing it into Hard logic. That room would've been the last thing I checked too.

Why oats always waiting till last moment to gather missiles. Who jumps over 5 to ten missiles packs to at last moment be lacking against mother brain. Collect the missiles early geese😂😂😂. Oats too hook on logic of the game How many times yuh hear Oats say s no that's not logic to come back and realize it is the way he should of took. He needs to free himself from himself and stop overthinking. Last but least kill the bosses that can be killed take the risk don't leave to come back.

In the past He has also gone down MANY rabbit holes that have not been in logic at all. Rarely does it pay off and give you a big advantage. Most times it is a great way to kill your run. He then decided to attempt to only follow the logic from then on. His biggest issue is not actually knowing ALL the logic, and when he gets hit with one that goes against his thought process, it just cripples his game. He is amazing at these if he doesn't hit one, but very beatable if he does. I predict he will essentially become nearly unbeatable if he keeps playing the randos. Eddie has a very similar mindset it seems, hence why they are neck and neck a lot of times.

@@mustwatchtv8134 I wanted so badly to just meme but I'll answer your questions. "Why oats always waiting till last moment to gather missiles." If you grab every single missile you are going to get burned eventually. There is a decision tree that we essentially all follow for the fastest rando completion. That has to do with a few key items. Varia, charge, and sometimes good beam combos unless you get a lot of super missiles. Super missiles do double damage to mother brain and ridley so they are extremely important. Missiles do 1/6th damage of a super missile. Excessive missile collecting is a very very bad strategy. 1/20 randos might have benefited from grabbing a ton but the other 19 will make you lose significant time. "How many time yuh hear Oats say s no that's not logic to come back and realize it is the way he should of took." If we don't try our best to follow the logic tree in the first few steps of the rando then it can get nasty. There are some difficult nuances that sometimes will confuse players. There are also changes to the map rando logic via patches that we need to keep up to date on. I do overlook paths from time to time but generally I never overlook the same path twice if it comes up again in a different seed. "He needs to free himself from himself and stop overthinking." This is deeply profound and really makes me think! Thank you for this. "Last but not least kill the bosses that can be killed take the risk don't leave to come back." I kill what bosses I can with the items I have. Sometimes it's good to skip bosses since you have to come back to the area with potentially more items. You'd have to point out an example of me skipping bosses. I'll always have a reason why I skip and it will make sense 99.9% of the time.
