obdlink xs is a cool little tool my girlfriend bought me.
its $30 for this version. some are cheaper, some are more expencive. check them out on amazon, search obd2 link on amazon.
great little tool every backyard mechanic needs.

I got this from Amazon, didn't get any software with it, just the booklet. Now the links given on that don't open up to download the software.

the cable comes with a piece of paper with the website on it. it also has a product key that you use to download the software off of that site

yes you can, it has a dashboard feature that will give you rpm, engine temp and other readings
