Just picked one, needed a way to set the timing on my truck. (96 gmc k2500, head gasket job P1345 code) it's pretty crazy tech definitely recommend picking one up. Considering getting the scan xl pro software. Timing was -12 btw lol

Looks like OBDLink has made some improvements to refresh rate since then. Too bad the data logger costs extra.

The engine load is the torque output of the engine. An internal combustion engine is - approximately - a constant torque motor, meaning it can produce the same maximum torque at any rpm. The fact that it happens at a rpm or another, dictates how much power it produces.

Hey, nice video. Do you think that the responde delay for the real time data is OBDLINK SX related or is it a limitation on the ecu of your truck? I've seen information that the OBDLink SX is one of the fastest obdii interfaces.

Can obdwiz be used to check the hybrid battery health? If not do you know of an app that connects to the obd connector to check the hybrid battery health?

Adan Lopez The default software only allows reading diagnostics and clearing codes, but with the correct software package it should be possible to tune parameters like the radiator fan temperature.

Azurfa Da Zinnaria Yes, for most cases this can reset check engine lights, except for certain "permanent" codes which will only go away after the problem is fixed and the sensors can sample adequate data to turn it off.

Either your coolant temperature sensor is bad or you are REALLY overheating. If your coolant is at 240, you are doing some serious damage to your engine.

I believe that sensor actually reads head temperature, not coolant temperature. It's mislabeled in the program.
