The symbolisms in this episode is so beautiful and dope. The Alliance working together to extract the beasts chakra. Naruto encouraging everyone to follow the path of light Obito getting exhausted and depressed by living a miserable life where his goal meant nothing and Kakashi explaining the path the chose wasn't so wrong because the same could've happened to him if weren't for his comrades, people who's there to never abandone a loved one. Obito was alone all this time and explained he travelled around the world seeking for hope and some light but in the end, despite having a sharingan he couldn't see nothing. A great episode

And every episode, they inch just a little closer to going down. That's my only actual complaint about this arc: the endless flashbacks and filler. Back when this originally aired, I was like the chorus from Monty Python and the Holy Grail: constantly shouting, "get on with it!" at my screen.

You were worried that Naruto was gonna Talk no Jutsu Obito down...and he kinda did, but he also smacked him in the face and yanked the tailed beasts out of him so it was a decent balance, Minato and Kakashi is what talked him fully down though Killing Obito, like killing Pain, was always a conundrum for Naruto, because allowing that would also be accepting that people like Sasuke are too far gone to be saved, and since Naruto doesn't want to give up on Sasuke, he can't be a hypocrite to his word.

Yeah, that coupled with the "enemies have done too much" talks some people complain about is kind of funny...like the choice the talk no jutsu victims have is either stay the same, be a terrorist murderer, or be better and do something good for the remainder of your life, all in a world where you can literally understand people's true intentions by punching them or pounding fists. It's funny seeing people have a conniption over something so simple

It's worth noting that part of the reason they redo so much of Kakashi Gaiden is because they recast kid-Kakashi and kid-Obito, so they're essentially re-dubbing it with the new actors here.

Minato thinks that it is his fault, because he was their leader snd sensei. He was responsible for them.

I think if Orochimaru deserves to live and be forgiven, then so does Obito. They both did almost the same terrible things. And I don't think Obito was completely lost, because everything he did was from his kind heart. He wanted to save the world and his goal was not bad. He was just going the wrong way (which was mostly because he was trained by Madara, unlike Naruto, who was trained by Iruka and escaped the darkness).
