So now we get to the position that if you fight a 140 on a hill, you just fight only against a gun barrel. Nothing else vital is visible, also because that flat turret where -7 depression is not even possible, just like in the 432. In hills this comes close to arty play. it's not the frustration you can't pen them because the armour shape (430 pre-nerf!) You start to fight tanks you can't barely see, or unable to hit them while they can.

I like how they're buffing tanks that never needed it, they should be buffing the med vic reload rate the centurion shouldn't have like a nine second reload, specifically because the tank had far more room, and a loading assist mechanism. In what universe does the 140 need a buff? It was performing decently and is still by far one of the most popular tier 10 medium. This tank has everything going for it, great armour, insane gun, good mobility, camou etc. This buff reminded me back when they randomly buffed the T-44's penetration from 175 to 183 or something and their dumb reasoning was to "bring the penetration in line with the Chinese T-34-2" like what the T-34-2 was already underperforming with the 100mm and the 122mm was at least special (until the T-44 was buffed again coz the 430 line came out). This is basically the same shit imo, they'll probably say something along the lines of "bringing the superior armour of the 140 in line with the newly buffed 121" because fk you that's why, can't have our Chinese counter parts be receiving buffs without some compensations.

What they messed up with the T44 was the buff to its gun handling or turret armour. Why should a tier 8 medium tank have 175mm of base pen in this day and age. Even in the past it was considered bad. But they buffed both the gun handling and turret armour when they really should have done just one. Now it's probably the best their 8 tech tree tank because of how versatile it is.

Here's a though WG, rather than buffing already powerful tanks so that they can compete with OP tanks (in other words, they become OP themselves), just nerf the OP tanks! I can understand not being able to nerf premiums (even if I hate it) because of EU laws, but the 430U and 907 and 279e and Chieftain aren't premium tanks, so why can't they just nerf them rather than attempting to buff every other tank (except a random handful like the AMX 30B and T-62A because screw you only some tanks are allowed to be brought in line with the super OP tanks in the game)

WG, here is a sugestion: show some love to the centurions for once! Demands: increase the hp of the ammo racks by 50%, increase the alpha damage of the gun by 50 and the pen of the apcr by about 10 mm and the heat by 20 mm! Increase the frontal armor by 10-15 mm and give it just a little bit more engine power, like 50 hp more.

Only thing the 907 has really over the 140 is armor design and a better turret. It has some other aspects like dpm and P/W but they are a minuscule differences. 907 has the same effective armor of the 140 on the live sever at 220 but the rounded hull, strong lower plate, and black hole Russian side spaced armor makes the 907 a much better brawler but it sacrifices a lot of gun handling for that compared to the 140

I'm almost positive WG knows what they're doing. They know that in CWs, if people aren't playing the Chieftain or S. Conqueror, they're playing the EBR 105 (yes even after the "nerfs"), and if they aren't playing those three, they're running Obj. 277, Obj. 430U, Obj. 268 v4, Obj. 705A, and sometimes the Obj. 140, even without the buffs. You almost never see German tanks, Swedish tanks, Czech tanks, Polish tanks, and American tanks. The only other rare exception I've seen like once or twice was some people using the STB-1 in company with the S. Conquerors and Chieftains. Why TF are WG buffing tanks from a very CW meta nation?? "Oh but we nerfed the Obj. 268 v4 and the Obj. 430U. Soviet lines are quite balanced" Tell that to this year's meta CW campaign lineup. Tanks everyone didn't ask you to nerf, you murdered the tech and buffed the premium. Tanks people didn't ask you to buff, you're making them more meta than they already are. WHY??????

I played Obj. 140 and M48 Patton a lot recently and felt like they were in a really good spot comparatively with strengths and weaknesses. So I don't understand why the Obj. 140 is being buffed. I would say that it isn't insanely strong atm, but that's more due to artillery (hull down positions are usually not arty safe). Adding gun depression to this tank is taking away it's only comparative weakness to other tier 10 meds (and in almost every other way it's already on par or stronger).

Just listen to what he said in his update 1.10.1 review : QB when talking about the 121's buff : "Do we really need another Obj. 430U in the game? yea, no..." Still, doesn't change the fact that QB is a hypocrit denying the very real phenomenon of russian bias in wot. Just compare the regular tier 5 Churchill to the premium russian Churchill. The russian one is better in every way, except alpha damage. It even has a better engine, despite it being the same engine model in both tanks. And the same was true about the regular Valentine VS the premium russian Valentine II before WG put the former at tier 3.

Anywhere else frontally, you're gonna get pen, even by basic AP. Imo 140 now got way more rewarding for skilled players, which is where it belongs, and I for once like this slight tweak. It's not really game breaking, but it made the vehicle's role in comparison with 430 even more clear. What I do mind is that while they have time for slight tweaks for vehicles which are perfectly OK, they have shitload of vehicles which are utterly unplayable trash and at this point, they do not even need 6-12 months of brainstorming, analysing, developing, designing, recreating, testing and whatnot in order to fix those vehicles in order to also avoid breaking them at the same time, because you don't need to be genius to figure out why some vehicle does not work well and if something is utter trash or completely broken, in all honesty, just trying to do SOMETHING within 2 weeks won't make things worse FOR SURE. Why did you, WG, spend I don't even know how much time "figuring out how to make Tiger II playable"? Why don't you just tweak a thing or two on it, observe if it worked, if not, return the next month and tweak another thing or two? Same kind of issue I see with many other vehicles in the game the community is very well aware of being either terrible or too good. Community knows what works and what not, and can often come up with very constructive feedback what needs to be changed. How about just making surveys "tell us what vehicle you think we should change, what would you change, and why", which would also NOT be anonymous, so you would just know that the opinion of someone with 80k battles in and 4k WN8 is maybe, just maybe, possibly, kinda right, and you could simply TRY the things repeatedly being asked and see if that works or not. And see if it works by trying it, not by sleeping on it for a year.

yeah this is too much,i played this game for 7 years now and i played on multiple accounts about 75k battles,i remember how happy i was when i got my jgpze100 and after 50 battles i saw how bad it was and left it for 4 years not playing with it at all ,and last month i started playing it and ANY tier 10 can pen me with the 2 key and even if angle right, the meds still pen me with their 330+ pen,i have grille,e100,maus,type5,705a,277,stb1,scon,t57h,t110e5,amx50b most of these are obsolete,i had the waffenträger auf e 100 which i got very hard because i dont spend too much money on the game,after i got it and played like 30 battles with it they removed it,thats fine BUT there still is obj. 279 e in the game.i get this feeling when i play german tanks that EVEN with .3 accuracy i miss shots that i should hit and with my is3a i hit targets 300m away from the move sometimes,they buff the tanks that really dont need any like the 140 here,this tank was really good before and didnt need any buff,but the maus cheeks and the the jgpz are the same,they get pen from any tank loading heat and apcr.i will stop playing this game ,its not worth your time.

It's obvious that 907 was better, so why everyone crying that tank from tech tree will be comparable to reward tank?

The reason the 907 is better is because of it’s better P/W and armor design. The 140 pre buff is still better in most ways to the 907. Even with the hull buffs to the 140 it still lacks the trolly design and nasty side armor the 907 has. 907 is a heavy front line brawler but isn’t very good at range while a 140 is an all rounder that can support the front line or snipe from the back but isn’t very strong in brawling combat.

The 140 can't take the place of the 430u, because it not noobfriendly enough. It's armor will only work if used correctly. Lower alpha, higher dpm doesn't do the noobs any favor too. The 430u took the place of the is7 as the most competitive tank for beginners. 140 will never take this place. The way its strengths and weaknesses are allocated doesn't fit.

If wg wanted to buff less relevant or old tanks more powerful to match the current meta they wouldve buffed much more the e50m, the amx 30b, the 121b etc.

Well, the E50m is preforming quite similarly with the 140 and is getting a buff. 30B was removed from the tech tree so I don't think they are going to touch that. 121B is a CW reward, I'm not expecting them to touch that either.

There needs to be more nerfing than buffing. WG also needs to reserve the right to nerf premium tanks, period. The whole point in those were credit grinding and crew training. Their whole selling point now is it's better than the standard tech tree variant. This is why Warthunder has so many more players on the NA server.

I prefer to see buffs on Bat Chat and AMX30B, my French tanks are sitting in garage full of dust since they are so useless now... 50B (my first tier X) - there are better autoloader heavies, this is only a but accurate and faster than the others M4 (really poor version of S. Conq.) Eats arty shots (or big gun's HE shells) like any other Foch TDs - only used to troll or try to get good RNG shots for fun Bat Chat 25t - gun handling is the worst of any tier X medium tank 30B - this guy had the best DPM, until Russian biased (K91) once again and after that, it just vanished 13 90 - I use this one because it is my only tier X light tank, fairly usable for current meta, but obviously the EBR is king of the light tanks

Lol i see everyone whine about the buff, since the buff..you get set on fire 8/10 times when they pen you, your ammo rack is made from the thinnest of glass ever. with this buff they broken the tank what the tank needs is a DMG buff and fixing the Fuel and Ammo rack issue, also a small fix on the gun dispersion..in game is says 0.30 but it feels more like 0.45 TVP and Obj 430U out preform this tank easy

Isnt it perfectly fine that a TECH TREE tank, can be competitive to special reward and premium tanks? That you can play and have fun with multiple branches and not wishing you had given WG 100 or 200 or 500usd to play their game.

You guys had like 5 tanks that had passed the other team's cap circle; just when 1/3 of their tanks started to cap. Easy victory if everyone agreed to cap and not be greedy for the kill. Maybe even as late as @11:45, you could have saved for a draw

Dear QB this tank needs proper attention. it needs why WG is still allowing this tank to one shot every tank in the same tier. Yes i am referring to the SPG M44. Its too way too powerful for its tier. I remember Circon complained about this SPG over a year ago. Nothings been done. Please have a look and tell me am i right or just whining?.

Progetto 65 gets nerfed(worst dpm on tier 10 medium)and they decide to fuck it up even more,and Object 140 gets buffed,yeah working as fucking intended.
