Thank you Pontia for your great videos and excellent teaching. Just have a small question about the example you give at 7:28 (همسرم باید سر کار کراوات بزند). Is it frequent to use زدن for "wear" ? Since the dictionaries I checked don't mention this meaning, I wonder if that might be an idiomatic use. Also, would it be possible to use پوشیدن in place of it ? Thanks again ! خداحافظ
@mypersiancorner5 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching! پوشیدن is to wear in general, but certain accessories require different verbs. For example, a tie or glasses use زدن ; a belt uses بستن. I'll make a more detailed video :)

سوال دارم سيگار نبايد بكشى ميشه بگم : سيگار بايد نكشى ؟؟؟ If it was possible , is there any deference in the meaning between that two sentences ? Thanks in advance .
@mypersiancorner11 ай бұрын
Good question. In this kind of structure, we usually make باید negative. It’s a little unusual to make the subjunctive negative.
