Some key points: 1. Sound effects or lack of... the hero is wearing armour but you don't hear it when the hero is walking. Something that was missed in Skyrim but did have in Oblivion. A waterfall in a mine, that should echo throughout the mine. In fact all sound effect in caves, ruins and mines should have echo's. 2. Light effects. Too bright in caves. There is torches to carry and light spells for a reason. 3. AI... Hero kills goblin while another watches. One would think they would want to swarm the hero, given the fact the creatures are savages. 4. World.... the colours of Skyoblivion look more pastel then a authentic colour palette. The Forrest should be more dense as per lore of the game.

They worked a lot of long grueling hours for years, likely taking a great toll on their lives/health (As is common in the industry, unfortunately). It was likely more of the case that leadership over promised, oversold, overcommitted, etc.

I simply cannot express the level of excitement I have for this project. I remember sitting and watching my dad play Oblivion for hours at a time when I was just a tot and being lost in how beautiful and full of wonders the game was, and then eventually playing through it myself dozens of times through adolescence and adulthood. This truly is a labor of love, and I would happily pay AAA title price for it hands down.

Not sure if it is worth making this version on skyrim engine that is 10 years old. You should have been able to achieve much more creating all from scrach in unreal engine, but then ip holder would have destroyed initiative. Skyrim lore is not particularly good either. But I understand- fans that wait endlesly for continuation of succesful game endlesly decide to create the next title themselves.

@@tonyphony1304 Don't be ridic. I've been modding skyrim for almost a decade now and I know every mod there is. The only wrong thing OP said that is worth correcting is that these "mods" are the best mods in videogame history, not just Skyrim. Skyrim made mods mainstream, and these few are the biggest and most high quality projects yet. They are not just "mods", not even remasters, but actual remakes of whole games. Something multi-million dev studios wouldn't dare to try making.

@@antonois You are a little wrong about me my friend, and don't be upset and all, because - no offence. But it really worth mentioning here then that mods have been really popular long before Sky.. Take GTA3 for instance and etc.. I've been in that modding thing you're talking about since the times when Daggerfall was out and popular. So, I strongly disagree with Linkalot in what he was mentioning. Sorry. But, yeah, I agree with you that Skyrim has definitely delivered mods and fine modding community to another level which simply wasn't seem possible before.

The armor looks amazing, big props to the people working on that. One piece of feedback is that it would make sense if you haven't already to add big stretches of farmland in the countryside, to give a sense that the food in the world is coming from somewhere. Also very glad to hear that you guys and the Beyond Skyrim team are working together!

I love this project so much!!! You guys should hire a marketing artist type person to make travel posters to each of the biomes/regions in Cyrodil. You can sell super high quality files for fans to print and download. I know it’s not about money but it’d be so cool and help the project. They could be concept art type themes too. Cause we’re all nerds and love that shit. Let us give you money!!!

There was a removed feature of the game where the Orc gang of Cheydinhal transported Skooma to and from the imperial city. Never made the final version of the game (although some of the characters still had activity related to the smuggling, there was no actual skooma involved) so would be awesome to see you guys implement that somehow!
