Oblivion's Tournament of 10 Bloods EXPLAINED - Lore, Quest, Analysis

In today's video, we go through and discuss Boethia's Daedric Shrine Quest which enrolls us into the Tournament of 10 Bloods. To find the shine, we must either speak with NPCs in Cheydinhal and/or read some books that can be purchased at The First Edition in the Imperial City Market District, or at the Mystic Archives. From here, we set out into the Valus Mountains and find the shrine. We need 1 Daedra heart to offer to Boethia. Once we do so, a portal opens up and we travel through it. We're brought to a realm of Oblivion where we run a gauntlet of facing off against the 9 other races in the game. We battle one by one until we're the only one's left sntading. From here, we're teleported back and given the Daedric artifact, and enchanted, unique and levelled sword, Goldbrand. Don't forget to like, comment and subscribe!

You have become a comfort channel for me dude, I loved this quest, all the arrows and such you can get from all the contestants was always so cool to me, only place to find those in bulk and they have a ton of health potions too, also love the Madness Armor drip here, never thought about pairing it with a Ebony Sword the color scheme matches a lot. Incredible work Bard’s Tale! Keep it up! Would love to see a Knights of the Nine walkthrough too.

There’s a special type of arrow you can only get from the enemies of this quest so to anyone watching be sure to loot it and if you want to keep em forever then duplicate them 😂

There isn't much to say about this quest; it pretty much speaks for itself. That being said, the sight of two people (one of them a supposedly brilliant Conjurer, to boot) _jumping into lava_ is something that genuinely made me laugh. I love Oblivion for a number of reasons; one of the biggest is its laughably God-awful AI. I know the Dunmer guy also fell into the lava, but seeing as he was getting knocked back by your character, and likely blindly backpedaling out of desperation, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he just panicked and didn't realize how close he was to the edge. He also made a brief (but valiant) effort to escape the fall, but to no avail. Still gets him a "You tried" sticker, though :3 Now that I think about it, the whole "pitting one of every race against each other" thing in this quest sort of reminds me of Hermaeus Mora's quest.

The redguard is male, I also always think it's a female looking at the face, but it is actually the opposite. Also wth, why so many NPCs went straight into the lava LOL, that Breton one was literally like - I give up - immediately.

Yeah the Redguard had a female model but a male voice so wasn’t sure what to pin it as but male makes sense! That Breton encounter had me scratching my head lol
