I have bernese and he is huge!(He is not overweight he is just tall!) Those guys looks small to me, but they all look cute!

Same, my bernese has very long legs compared to others, he's only 9 months and already 55 kg :)

Because at crufts they want a certain type of Bernese, the more “less natural” the better. So the bigger types aren’t welcome. My Bernese is huge too. Crufts is just cruel.

@@AB-hg4hg im not sure where u are from but i know european lined dogs seem to be smaller from other places like usa for example! we had a bernese, and she was i think the runt in the litter im not quite sure as i was so young when we got her but she was even smaller than these ones. she lived to be almost 15 yrs tho, i think the size greatly helped her to live so long! miss u everyday sweet bella

I've only ever owner bernease mountain dogs, and I only ever will own bernease mountain dogs so its fun to see them represented in a event like this. However, the first dog is the MOST overweight bernease mountain dog I have ever seen! I am shocked! I hope the owner was reprimanded in some way bc that is not fair to the dog AT ALL.

that one dog is extremely overweight and the fact that nobody said anything is just really sad to me. the owner should be banned from the competition and also should not be able to have this dog until she shows that she actually CARES for her dog the proper way. Sorry but this is embarassing to watch. I feel really sorry for the dog...

I guarantee that is all fur. I have three Bernese Mountain Dogs and their fur is so thick that they look bigger than they are.
