I'm loving the new crop of smart wireless cameras!

The audio quality with different noise reduction levels is impressive. How does it compare to other high-end cameras in terms of audio?

I only have Sony Alphas, but it seems to compete with those. The ZV-E10 has a little dead cat for wind rejection, but at a distance, all mics are a bit challenged, and while my studio room is somewhat treated, the kitchen is not.

This cams look good.

It's really solid especially given that it's sending the image wirelessly. I wasn't expecting it to be as good, because I tend to want everything on a cable to ensure stability.

seems pricey, how does this compare to the dji pocket 3?

Great video. Question... when the camera is in auto-track mode, how do I get it to put/crop my head into the 'top' of the frame (or right/left/bottom) instead of the 'middle'. It seems when the camera is auto-face-tracking, it leaves too much room at the top of the frame that I'd like to get rid of.

Agree the portrait mode autotracking for me was also a little low in the frame (kids' table look). I don't recall finding a mode to minimize head space to the top of the frame. That's a good bug or feature request for the OBSBOT team. The Lumina webcam I just tested (no gimbal, mind you) did this very well.

Can I use this as a webcam? Scenario : In a conference room, attach the camera above the TV in the centre of the wall, looking at the large meeting table. Whilst sitting on the desk/trable, use my laptop join Microsoft Teams Meeting. Sync and select the Obsbot camera as a video device and start using it as a webcam. I can then wirelessly share my Laptop screen to the TV, so other people in the room can see the "online" participants of the Teams Call. Can I also plug the camera into the USB port of the TV to draw power so it doesn't run out of batteries ? Can the Camera be recognised by the laptop as a webcam and be used in this scenario ?

The only way I can think of to do this easily is by using the wireless feed into OBS as I showed in part 2, then using the OBS virtual camera into teams. Then you'll need to delay and sync your audio to the video. My guess is that it will be around 70ms out of sync, but that's just a guess. I have another video on syncing audio in OBS to video lag, too. Most TVs (at least mine) don't power USB sufficiently for this, as they tend to be for firmware updates and diagnostics. This camera is pretty hungry in terms of power consumption. If your TV has ~15w USB output at 5v, you'll be fine, but mine are 5w/1amp usually just designed to be enough for a thumb drive or non-charging connected device.

Can I connect it wirelessly to my OBS without using hdmi

Yes, I actually showed that in part 2, kzbin.info/www/bejne/fnLTk4KLaqdrkM0si=RG12G7ppBvE35flz at 11:40 using at RTSP stream over Wi-Fi.
