Noice! :) Especially that someone just mentioned that neither were particularly unknown.

“Monkeys in the first level cannot be knocked out with a baseball bat just like that but have to be lured with a bowl of food first.” Taken out of context people could very much misunderstand that. 😂 I haven’t played a single game on this list & that’s great! That’s what you made these lists for, thank you. If I’m honest I’m using my real Amiga 600 less & less in favour of my Amiga mini as it’s just a lot more convenient to download a game, stick it on a flash drive I keep for Amiga games & play it straight off the drive.

Dang it, it could be take out of context... Oh, well, whatever, let's take that risk and see what people come out with. If anything, that is. ;) Oh, I totally get that. I have an A500 and it sits comfortably in the box. For one, I have nothing (display) to connect it to. For two, the amount of disks that could still be considered in working condition in my collection seems to be getting lower and lower with each day. Not to mention I question the amount of reads left in my Amiga's disk drive. And lastly, it's just more convenient to emulate. I've been a long subscriber to the notion that today, the best Amiga is a PC.

The main character in Ghost Battle is doing the most impressive ballet jump I've seen in an action platformer. :) Oh, and there is at least one more climbing game out there. Extreme Rock Climbing by the (in)famous Head Games. :D It's where that "practice mode" sound bite comes from. You might have heard it around KZbin before.

@@TheRetroGamePlanet Well, if we can't count on helping each other out, noone will. :) Tell me, how do you fare with those NES/SNES videos? Did you get any copyright strikes for them yet? Did Nintendo said anything yet? They've been bothering many channels in the recent few years for virtually nothing other than playing their older games, and that's why I was fearful of touching Big N's systems on my channel...

@@gjermundification Oh, I've been getting a feeling a lot lately. Of games' titles sounding like one thing and games being something entirely different. Mainly while working on the C64 series, but I have been experiencing it often too. ;)

are they all running on A500? Just a thought : I don't want to be mean against the Amiga (wich i love) but I still don't get the point to make good games on a platform that is on the way to disapear (for instance : Blobz on 1996).
@OldAndNewVideoGames Жыл бұрын
Blobz was actually the only one that required the AGA chipset (A1200/4000 and CD32 had it).

@@federicocatelli8785 I know about that, but making game for retro platform is more a sport or a hobbie today rather than in the late 90's where old computers (Amiga actually) were seen like outdated and good to be forgotten.

@@sebastientoccupe5704 Technically speaking by 1996 it was already 2 years gone. But in hands of its faithful users it carried on quite a bit longer, and some still make software for it even today.
