Because it's the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, India's first Prime Ministers after freedom in 1947. He loved children, and children loved him. So, they called him Chacha Nehru. Chacha means uncle in Hindi So, 14th November is celebrated as Children's Day in India.

As an Asian Canadian, I'm glad you acknowledged that people know surprisingly little about Asia. I'm constantly astounded at how much people know about Europe and North America, but if you ask them to name, for example, the 2nd largest city in South Korea, most people would draw a blank (even though there was a hit movie named after that city about 3-4 years ago).

What you said about Vietnam is actually true in South Korea, too. People here always have to distinguish between their "Korean age" and "international age." When you're born, you're considered 1, then every New Year's after that, you turn another year older. So if your birthday has already passed this year, add 1 year to your age. If not, add 2 years to your age. That is your Korean age.

I (and Nikolai Tesla would back me) feel that even though your busier than a plague doctor during the year 1349 you really should have one more channel. Not sure what idea to make another channel about? How about a vlog by you about whatever happens to be on your mind that day? Or perhaps record practicle jokes that you play on Danny and Sam, while they record their own practicle jokes? Maybe a cartoon created by Simon and crew. You could visit local haunted spots. Just a few ideas. Love your vids.

Russia is actually one of the least densely populated countries on earth, especially the Asian side. Russia has a fairly large population, about 140 million or so, but it's especially huge, and 70% of the country lives west of the Urals (thus, in Europe). The population density of Siberia is about 2 people per square km; for Comparison, China has about 145 people per sq km and Saudi Arabia has about 15 people per sq km.

I recommend mullvad which is much safer than most VPNs. NordVPN is much more focused on earning money and they use shady advertising tactics like paying sites to get on lists that look like reviews but are actually paid promitions. Also I hate they say you get 80% off. You don't. It is almost impossible to get to pay the full price. Mullvad are based in Sweden and as far as I know their IPs arent blocked by Netflix, especially their wireguard servers which they are also one of the only VPN I know that have wireguard.

@@samanjj The definition of a continent is more than that. If you say it defines a continent because of distinct shelves than you have a problem with the oceanic islands and other continental fragments like Iceland and Madagascar. These are considered parts of Australia, Europe and Africa because of cultural constructs not because of continental shelves. And there are 4 or so models of continents and all are accepted and taught: - 7 continet model taught mostly in english-speaking countries (USA, UK, Australia etc), China, India, Pakistan, Philippines and parts of Western Europe - 6 continent model with combined Eurasia taught in Russia, Eastern Europe and Japan - 6 continet model with combined America taught in Latin America, Greece and Romanic speaking languages (and USA before WWII) - 5 continents model with combined America and excluded Antarctica (because uninhabited) used by the United Nations and the Olympic Charter - 9 continent model as scheme to describe the biodiversity, called "botanical continets"

No, Vietnam's "everyone's birthday" is not unique to it. The origin is a Chinese celebration called "Ren ri" (Translates to "day of man"). That said, Vietnam is the only place where there's a whole set of festivities around the event...

@@tipsysmichigander6483 It depends where you come from. There are 4 models of the continents (5 up to 7 continents in these models): -The seven-continent model is usually taught in most English-speaking countries including the United States, United Kingdom and Australia and also in China, India, Pakistan, the Philippines, and parts of Western Europe. -The six-continent combined-Eurasia model is mostly used in Russia, Eastern Europe, and Japan. -The six-continent combined-America model is often used in Latin America, Greece and countries that speak Romance languages. -A five-continent model is obtained from the combined-America model by excluding Antarctica as uninhabited. This is used in the United Nations and in the Olympic Charter in its description of the Olympic flag. And there is also a model of "Botanical continents" which are 9 in total. All of these models are fine and accepted. And when you argue that continents are single landmasses divided by water then you can also say that there are only 4 continents: Eurafricasia, America, Antarctica and Australia, because Africa/Eurasia and South/Nord America are only divided by man-made canals and not naturally.

Asia is not a continent. EuroAsia is one single continent

Depends how you learned it and where you learned it. I believe there are 4 models of the continents (5 up to 7 continents in these models): -The seven-continent model is usually taught in most English-speaking countries including the United States, United Kingdom and Australia and also in China, India, Pakistan, the Philippines, and parts of Western Europe.

“Soviet Empire”... Who the hell calls it the Soviet Empire

Someone who recognizes what it actually was instead of what it claimed to be.

Hmm, my comment seemed a bit...angry? I was genuinely asking who called it that, since I had never really heard it called that before. I understand it was obviously an empire disguising itself as a “Union” when it was forced to remain together, just had never heard it called such.

There’s also the Aral Sea, which was also a lake. Once a pretty big one too. But shrunk overtime due to irrigation projects

Inserting VPN Adverts into the beginning of your video and again a mere 4 minutes later has compelled me to unsubscribe from your once interesting channel. I'm not in the slightest bit interested in finding out how many times you can insert even more adverts into the remaining five minutes.

People always mock me when I try to tell them that Russia is a part of Asia. Which I never understood. I'm like, you know it's not its own continent, so what else is it?

Monkey Ming I've wondered since I was a kid why they were separate continents if they're on the same continental shelf, but every "official" source just said that they were separate, but never explained why
